Sensational!
Revisado: 12-17-21
The story of how Mel Brooks came to be is not only charming and in some places a little scary but ultimately this is a story of a man with a dream to make people laugh and laugh they did. I highly recommend this book. These memoirs are just delightful.

A fierce delight!
Revisado: 11-05-16
This is a wild one! A few new creatures added to Mossflower country including the dangerous Gulo the Savage and his band of white foxes and ermine from the lands of snow and ice. This novel is packed full of adventure and murder, comrades and mystery. Easily one of the best tales from the abbey ever told. Though, there are many tales from Redwall. Mayhap you will venture in to hear them? With wonderful food and great company by the fire in Cavern hole who could ask for more? The gates are always open to good beasts at Redwall abbey. Come and stay as long as you like.

"Tag" you're it!
Revisado: 10-26-16
The Taggerung is possibly one of the most amusing and suspenseful books of the series. It's filled with joy and sadness, difficult triumphs and resounding defeats. it has great mystery and a wealth of clarity delivered by some of the most memorable of characters, all of which can be found with friends and feasts here. Won't you come and join in? After all, the doors of Redwall Abbey are always welcome to any and all goodbeasts.

Spiriting away one unlucky Redwall youngster after another, the vermin hope to weaken the abbey’s resolve and soften it for a takeover. A wonderful book!
Revisado: 10-23-16
The Redwall series has always been a staple for me in literature and this twenty-first in the series was just as good as the first. I'll never stop wishing that Mark Jacques will take his father's place are the new author so that one day we might read more tales of the abbey and Mossflower country. Though one is always welcome to revisit the stories of old or share them so that others may make new friends and hear of great triumphs over evil and adversity. After all, the doors to Redwall Abbey are always open to good and gentle creatures..

Historia
When Redwall was published in 1987 it catapulted author Brian Jacques to international stardom. And small wonder! This enthralling tale is jam-packed with the things we long for in a great adventure: danger, laughter, hairbreadth escapes, tragedy, mystery, a touch of wonder, a truly despicable villain, and a hero we can take to heart.

Revisado: 07-19-16
This first written novel in the series is a real treasure. Though I may not find it to be the best in the series, it's by far worth the listen.. once or even many times over. After all, a hot meal, friends and good stories can always be found at Redwall Abbey. Come and join in any time. The door is always open to you, my friends.

eulaliaaaaaa!!
Revisado: 07-06-16
This novel, while not narrated by the author himself, is another favorite of mine. Four tales intertwine to make one epic story and the villians, Ferrago and his son, make some of the nastiest vermin to ever set paw in Mossflower country. Get ready to feast and fight is this amazing installment of the series over and over again. After all, the door to Redwall Abbey is always open to all good creatures.

This is one tale of Mossflower country that will leave you stunned. A close friendship.. unconditional love... a madbeasts revenge... all carefully woven in a tapestry of delight as only the author and his faithful band of players could do. So sit by the fire and warm yourselves as you feast on a wonderful story.. and remember that the doors of Redwall Abbey are always open to you.

This is another of my favorites from the Redwall series. It's heartwarming and devastatingly sad. Packed with songs and feasts, friends and foes, this novel is about a summer of growing up... and of living one summer too long..

Revisado: 05-19-16
This is my FAVORITE of all the Redwall novels and with a full cast and narrated by the author (Brian Jacques) himself, it just doesn't get any better than this! I've listened to the recording four times now and it's like visiting with old friends every time. So come along, sit by the fire in cavern hole and listen to tales of warriors and villians, feasts and friends. The gate is always open to you good and gentle creatures at Redwall Abbey.
