Great story but horrible narration.

The story is great with a lot of sex, which scratches that itch for me. 5 Stars for the story alone. If you can overlook most typos—and there are not that many that I saw—then you can get through this book with a pleased smile if this niche is your thing.

Now for the hitch in the plan. I whispersync all the books I read if they’re available so I can listen while driving then pick up where I left off to read it when I get stopped. I’ll leave a review on Amazon as well, but I have to say this is probably the worst narrated book I’ve ever listened to, and I’ve been listening to audio books for more than 20 years. There is no distinction between the dialogue and narration. All the characters sound exactly the same. There’s very little inflection in the narrator’s voice, as if she’s bored reading the book. Doubly so for the sex scenes. Again, it’s as if she’s bored reading the book so the sex scenes sound like she was lethargic while narrating them.

Delightfully Refreshing

Loved it from beginning to end. The only problem I had with the story was some of the terms they used for different things that wasn’t immediately explained took away from the immediate enjoyment of the story for me. Not everyone is familiar with Japanese Anime so a lot of the phrases used went right over my head. Other than that it was a great story and I’m looking forward to book 2!

Rollercoaster ride from start to finish!

This is a story about a regular human who inadvertently gets himself caught between two of the most powerful beings in the world. One wants to kill him while the other wants to… Let’s just say there’s something magical about him and leave it at that.

If you like stories about Fae and Succubi and all sorts of mythical creatures openly coexisting in the human world, then this story is for you. The sex isn’t bad either.

Nice!!

This is a story about an average college kid on his way to work and stumbles on the existence of mythical beings. When he accidentally mispronounces a word in latin, suddenly he realizes he can summon dragons. He gets inadvertently sucked into joining a MIB-type organization and travels the globe protecting humans in secret from the mythical monsters that would otherwise destroy the planet.

The narration team is excellent at fleshing out the characters and bringing them to life.

Whew! Way hot!

Talk about any college boy’s dream! This is the story about a genius computer programmer that invents a game that rewards you with the usual game rewards. The difference is pleasure is added as a reward system for completing quests. It’s decently written and flows fairly well. The sex is nicely done and doesn’t take too much away from the overall story.

The narration is excellently done by Christian and Hazel.

Great Story!

Finding Real Magic is about an Indiana Jones-type guy that hunts for relics all over the globe. His latest hunt takes him to LA where he meets two beautiful starlets who want to help him on his journey. The book was well-written and the story progressed well. I like a lot of sex in the books I read so this one was a bit underdone in that department but it was still an enjoyable listen.

The narration, however, well, if you’ve read some of my other reviews on Erin, then you’ll know I’m not much of a fan of her general narration. I love how she makes a character come to life and gives them individuality and she is excellent at that. Her general narration just seems too ‘children’s bedtime story’ for me.

Excellent!! 10/10!!!

This is a story about a History Teacher who loves Dungeons & Dragons getting sucked into a game world. There are no over-the-top stats to skip over or game mechanics to get bogged down by. Just a guy doing what any fan of D&D dreams to do, kick @$$ and save the world. Oh, and of course, have fun with the ladies along the way. The book was excellently written and flowed really well. It didn’t leave me so bored in spots that I’d have to skip over. 10/10 would recommend.

The only problem I had with the book was the narrator, and even then, it wasn’t so much of a problem that I had to quit listening. While Erin did a spot-on job with the characters and accents to bring the characters to life, the general narration gave me a vibe of a mom reading a bedtime story to a toddler.
