Historia
Upanishads are mankind's oldest works of philosophy, predating the earliest Greek philosophy. They are the concluding part of the Vedas, the ancient Indian sacred literature, and mark the culmination of a tradition of speculative thought first expressed in the Rig-Veda more than 4,000 years ago. Remarkable for their meditative depth, spirit of doubt and intellectual honesty, the Upanishads are concerned with the knowledge of the Brahman, the Ultimate Reality, and man's relationship with it.

So beautifully read. I’ve been looking for an Audible like this for years! I absolutely love it. Chapter 23 was enlightening. I can’t say it enough. Absolutely wonderful!

Beautiful Retelling with one flaw
Revisado: 04-09-18
If you could sum up Jaya in three words, what would they be?
Beautiful retelling with just one flaw that bothered me. The Gita, the song of Krishna, was too short. Only about 20 minutes of Krishna talking to Arjun. However, the short 20 minutes was enough to make you feel the love for Vishnu in your heart.
Have you listened to any of Devdutt Pattanaik and Dramanon Theater ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listed to the 7 Secrets of Shiva. Mr. Pattanaik does a beautiful job.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Laugh, cry and love the story. Too short!
Any additional comments?
I love Devdutt Pattanaik. I want him to be my teacher, my guru! listen to his books and stories and then read it for yourself.
