Historia
Country music icon Shane Black is this year’s headliner for the New Year’s Eve bash in Times Square, but when violent riots break out, he’ll need more than a six string to escape New York City. After decades of abuse as the world’s reserve currency, the US dollar’s day of reckoning is at hand. Without a functioning monetary system to purchase basic goods, society rapidly descends into abject chaos. Protests, looting, and bloodletting take the place of civility in a country which becomes thoroughly unhinged.

Kate reaches out for help from a nearby friend and learns of yet another wave of cyber-attacks. The next strike threatens to finish off the nation which is still reeling from the previous assaults. The federal government and society at large are hanging on by a thread.

Are these things to come!
Revisado: 06-21-19
Mark you've hit another long distance homer with Cyber Armageddon. I have always enjoyed your application of biblical verses and principles in how the story develops. Great insight in what lay on the horizon. Would have preferred a different narrator. The audio seemed to drag and came across as very whiny. Felt like the presentation made the characters never join the story.

Historia
When Robert Hardwick’s daughter, Grace, was struggling to reach home because the nation was collapsing, he couldn’t wait. He went after her, finally finding her at one of the safe houses he’d arranged along her route home, a friend’s survival compound in the mountains of northern Georgia. A chance encounter at the compound gave Grace the opportunity to hitch a ride home in a chopper while Robert chose to wait for an injured friend to heal up.

Dramatic and Intense
Revisado: 06-21-19
Been a fan since The Borrowed World Series. Like that series Locker Nine series is another great message and story delivered by a master author. His use of narrator Kevin Pierce, who I consider one of the absolute best is telling an authors story and bringing every word to life in picture form. Compound fracture ideally reflects the struggle endured when separated from your family and the challenge of staying in the moment. Not sure what if any military background the author has but this series echoes those battles many of my fellow military members endure being separated from their families. Constant mental and physical challenge to balance love of family, friends, and duty. Please don't let the next chapter take too long.

Historia
A nation cannot be civil without civility. To some, civility cannot be restored until power is regained. A Civil War was a necessary evil, but make no mistake, it was evil. What do we, as human beings, owe to one another? And, what does it mean to be civilized when civilization is collapsing all around you? Author Bobby Akart once again masterfully tells a tale of a nation on the edge of societal collapse. For decades, Americans had found themselves increasingly at odds with one another - politically, socially, and culturally.

Civil Appropriate
Revisado: 05-08-19
Loved the Doomsday series, with all the spins, twists and turns. Really enjoyed how the story continued to feed little nuggets of details that made we want to search ahead to see where that thread was going. Sorry about the 3 star rating on the performance. Narrator didn't captured the characters or assemble their personality enough to make them come to life. Switched to reading which was disappointing since I drive a lot and audio really helps me stay connected with your books.

Another great story Mark and the Bible references offer wonderful insights on what lies ahead for Christians. Narration did not bring the story to life as your other audios have done.

Historia
Sometimes the worst storms aren't from Mother Nature, and sometimes the worst nightmares aren't the ones in our heads. Mike Mitchell, an average New Yorker already struggling to keep his family together, suddenly finds himself fighting just to keep them alive when an increasingly bizarre string of disasters starts appearing on the world's news networks. As both the real world and the cyber world come crashing down, bending perception and reality, a monster snowstorm cuts New York off from the world, turning it into a wintry tomb where nothing is what it seems.

Storm of Different Proportions
Revisado: 08-08-17
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Probably not a book I would suggest to a friend. Theme of the book was interesting and certainly appropriate in todays political climate. But the story took to many side excursions that added little value to the overall message. Narration wasn't very complimentary to the books storyline. I have listened and read many books in this area and this would be a late recommendation if at all.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Sedition by Tom Abrahams or Days of Elijah by Mark Goodwin. Both authors have themes that are easy reads and move you through the themes with very little side tracks. Their narrator Kevin Pierce is a personal favorite
How could the performance have been better?
Different narrator may have helped.

Super Story
Revisado: 03-31-17
Where does Prepper's Crucible. Omnibus: An EMP Tale rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Prepper's Crucible provides an excellent insight to the challenges society could face should an EMP happen. Any story that creates thoughtful consideration is a well thought out dialog.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Cory was a quiet leader that developed into a strong military leader especially after Dons death. Quiet and unassuming looking only to embrace the outdoors and find his sister to save his family.
What does Kevin Pierce bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Kevin Pierce's narration brings the story alive creating excitement and anticipation that makes you drive for the next part of the story. I read the second of this series due to the narrator.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes pretty much did that.
Any additional comments?
Too bad the second part of the series wasn't;t narrated by Kevin Pierce. had to return the audible book as being to hard to listen to.
