Historia
It is an unequivocal fact that in terms of rock bands, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Who represent Year Zero, the beginning of all things, ground-breakers all. To that incontrovertible end, John Entwistle—The Who's beloved bassist—remains an enigmatic yet undeniably influential figure. However, unlike his fellow musicians, Entwistle has yet to be the subject of a major biography. In the years since his death, his enduring legacy has been carefully guarded by his loved ones, preventing potential biographers from writing the definitive account of his life—until now.

Amazing, Sobering Story of a Genius
Revisado: 12-28-23
I picked up a bass guitar after being inspired by Jack Bruce and John Entwistle and never put it down. To say that Entwistle was a musical influence on me is to understate things greatly. He inspired me to play busy, melodically, and fearlessly. And I do.
I didn't know the full details of his personal life but I figured that it was as much of a train wreck as the rest of the guys in The Who. And it was.
His music inspires me to play clean.
His life inspires me to live clean.
So, to this day, John Entwistle inspires me to be a better musician and a better man.
Thank you, John. You rock!.

You MUST Read This Book!
Revisado: 07-21-20
5+ Stars (Audible edition)
I bought this book the day after it was published and simply could not stop listening to it! The content is riveting and the author has an excellent narrative voice and style - she did a great job presenting this captivating material.
And now that I'm done, I must say that regardless of what country you live in or your politics, you must read this book!
That's not hyperbole, it's just a fact. It is a stunning, even shocking, revelation - a cold but necessary splash of ice water in the face. It's not really the revelation that I wanted, but since I far prefer reality to fantasy, I'll take it. Suddenly, everything that I have ever wondered about the current US President - both before and after the election - is clear and obvious. The evidence has always been there, this book simply validated and confirmed it. And clearly, I'm not alone, just read some of the other reviews here and I think that you'll find a similar, recurring thread in them.
Prediction: President Trump and his family will now claim that the author, his niece, and the daughter of his older brother, Freddy, is nothing more than an angry, bitter, disenchanted, vindicative, woman who is trying to get rich off of this book and is trying to settle old scores. How can I say this? Answer: Because I have read this book and I know how both the President and his family have dealt with their real or imagined critics or adversaries not just now but for four-generations. This is nothing new, this is just the same old movie.
This is a family whose value system views compassion and kindness as weakness and viciousness and malice as virtues. And you doubt me, I challenge in the strongest terms to read this book! Or, you tell me: This being written on Monday, July 20th, 2020 for your reference. Let's see how I do, shall we? If by the time you read this review and any or all of this has happened, then I rest my case. I would like to say more, but I'm afraid that if I do you won't believe me.
Finally, I would not ONLY that ask you to read this book about also pray for President Trump and for the country because with him in Oval Office we need it desperately. I am more convinced than ever that God is our only hope and the only one who can save us from the mess that we have gotten ourselves into.
So North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, even Antarctica, please, I beg you, read this book! And please, please, please pray for President Trump and America.
Thank you.

Great except for the bumpers, perfect!

We love these soundscapes but we hate the outro bumper that wakes us up at the end when we use them as sleep white noise.
Please take it out.

Historia
Crickets are truly magical creatures. Not only is their iconic chirping often a pleasant evening song during warm mellow summer nights in the country, but in many cultures crickets are associated with good luck, hope and even wealth. Crickets are beloved in Japan, especially for their musical songs. In Brazil, some species are considered to be signs of hope or incoming wealth. Charles Dickens wrote a tale called The Cricket on the Hearth that featured a cricket acting as a household's guardian angel. This recording features gentle cricket chirping accompanying various birds of wild grasslands.

Perfect expect for the intro bumper which is pointless and the outro bumper that wakes us up when we use this as white noise for sleeping.

Only marred by the opening and closing bumpers
Revisado: 07-10-20
I really enjoy these Cetus soundscapes. My only complaint is the Audible intro and outro bumpers that wake up my wife, and sometimes me, when I use them as sleep White Noise.
Without it, they would be perfect.
