Historia
Somewhere under the freezing Atlantic, a Soviet sub commander has just made a fateful decision. The Red October is heading west. The Americans want her. The Russians want her back. The chase for the highly advanced nuclear submarine is on - and there’s only one man who can find her... Brilliant CIA analyst Jack Ryan has little interest in fieldwork, but when covert photographs of Red October land on his desk, Ryan soon finds himself in the middle of a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek played by two world powers - a game that could end in all-out war.

Historia
In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue - Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is - she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

great book, great performance.
Revisado: 07-19-23
The book is much better than the movie. The storyline changed so much in the movie from the book, outside the general setup and the character's names, there was not a whole lot there that was recognizable.
I would highly recommend the audio book.
The performer has done a great job in portraying the characters.

it is ok...
Revisado: 09-07-21
Sound effects and most of the actors will fit well within this audible. Richard Dreyfuss acts like Moses is a evil little troll under the bridge.
It's very disappointing. The majority of the other actors seem to pick up their rolls very well.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
As a driver, I listen to a lot of XM. Mostly old time radio. So I gotten use to stories while I drive. Since I bought a radio with aux plug for android, I plug my phone into the radio, and listen to the books. Thanks to Glenn Beck and he having Mr. Thor on, I learned about his books and been a fan ever since.
The action, how Mr. Thor describes what is going on around the character with out so much detail that I pass out and the last thing I hear is my head and the Bridge support meeting.
Everything seems just right to keep you listening, wanting more.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Scott how ever you spell his last name, though threw later books, starting to like the troll.
Have you listened to any of Armand Schultz’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Just on Mr. Thor's books.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Chick flick, or this. Your choice.
Any additional comments?
If Brad reads this. MORE.... And do another intervue with Glenn. That is so much fun.
