while I applaud some of the intent - exposing horros in Darfur etc. The story went beyond implausible to annoyingly implausible.

Erzatz Ludlum

I bought this hurriedly thinking is was a real Ludlum book. While I was entertained, the plot was even more unbelieveable than usual - more Bond than Bourne - and while Ludlum is not the world best writer (he's pretty good) this book borrowed the character but not much more. Don't bother with Jaw's III in other words

Not a well written book. Truly hated the shallow characters asnd couldn't believe how stupid they were. Still a bit of fun as the story is ok.

This was an unusual listen. I really quite like it for a while: the man who could talk to cats and some of the other characters were quite engrossing. I just never quite felt I got the point, feeling perhaps a bit of a cultaural divide.

Don't expect too much

This one wasn't a favorite. I like the genre but I thought this was pretty repetitive and in spite of all of the build-up of the heroine's role as the "expected one" it seemed to me when all was said and done that the author (and for that matter the spirit of Mary M.) didn't expect too much of her. This seemed a bit incongrous considering the general theme of the work.
