Addison and Ridge are everything good and perfect. Marni manages to build chemistry and tension right from the beginning and these two are no different. Ridge is down bad for her the moment he sees her and doesn’t let any of the obstacles in his way stop him from making Addison his.

This is also great on audio. Connor and Savannah do the best job bringing these two to life.

I was so intrigued by Zoey and Liam’s dynamic from the first book in this series that I could not wait for their story! And it did not disappoint. We knew going in that they don’t really get along and experience the surprise of them being asked to raise their friends’ daughter after their deaths. Reading Liam comes to terms with his friend’s faith in his ability to raise Mira and Zoey supporting him through his worry was so relatable as a mom.

This one is a slooooow burn but the spice was so worth the wait because of how their relationship develops and how they learn how to support and trust the other before.

The narrators were so good in this one too - the accent for Liam was great and it still showcased his grumpy side. Zoey’s exhaustion as she’s thrust into motherhood was also showcased and made for an all around relatable character!

Max and Sloane are a quick, spicy listen full of suspense vibes and good found family vibes from the friend group. All of the narrators do a great job portraying the emotions their characters experience - especially when Sloane witnesses a crime. Max’s protective side comes out in that moment and Conor Crais does an amazing job with that emotion. Sloane is a bit frustrating at times with her insistence in staying with a man who isn’t faithful to her despite her kissing Max. I need more of this story to feel her growth.

I loved Marni’s take on a marriage of convenience. When a video of Grayson goes viral and paints their hookup app in a bad light, his friends come up with a plan to restore their image. He will marry the beautiful bartender, Jovana, and make the couple the face of the app to prove that their marriage arm works. But faced with the reality of being constantly around Jovana, Grayson realizes that maybe he was against commitment simply because he hadn’t met his perfect match yet.

Bob and Marlow are music in my ears! What starts off as a rescue of an innocent archeologist turns into the beginning of forever for these two. As with the others in this series, Bob and Marlow are definitely instalove and despite not usually being my favorite trope, I love how Susan writes their deep connection so quickly.

Letters to Molly is the most wonderful take on a marriage in crisis I have ever read. Finn and Molly are divorced - we know this from The Birthday List - but their reconciliation has me in my feels. Molly starts getting letters from Finn hand delivered to her home. The letters are his thoughts and feelings on paper documenting them falling in love, getting married and struggling to adjust to becoming parents. Their issues, fights and divorce feel so relatable as a mom of two young kids. I’ve been in Molly’s shoes, had her fears and frustrations. These two coming back together and working through their problems will live in my head forever.

I’ve been waiting for Jack’s story and it did not disappoint. I loved him falling for his best friend’s little sister. I was not prepared for Monroe’s tenacity and drive to uncover stories for her political column. I loved how he was instantly protective of her when she was willing to risk her safety just to get the story. I loved how her brother is the reason they even have to fake date in the first place despite being so against them having a real relationship. I enjoyed the epilogue that gives you a glimpse into all of the Montgomery Brothers and their partners in the future.

Rae and Sawyer are such an intriguing pair to kick off this Brewed series. They are such a great take on strangers to lovers. Both have pasts that are dictating how they react and respond to each other. Unraveling Sawyer’s past and what happened with his ex is both heartbreaking and demands empathy. You learn why the town playboy is so against relationships and yet is so pulled to the new girl in town. I had an idea of what Rae’s past really entailed but it was so much more than I anticipated. Listening to these two over come their pasts to bring out the best in each other is a rollercoaster I was not ready to be done with.

The first in a duet - this does not end in an HEA, so be prepared to read both books. Blake and Farrah meet on a study abroad trip and through the fun of Shanghai, they fall in love. But one night destroys everything they thought they had built, leaving them both with broken hearts. Both narrators do a great job portraying two young people falling in love
