Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Happy to read it
Revisado: 01-15-23
I have chosen an Audio version of the book on Audible, cost me one credit. It was the right choice because I enjoyed listening to Spare written by Prince Harry. Before I started listening to this book I have read several reviews that put me down about this book. However, it was all pleasure hearing true Royal story by Royal person. Prince Harry's voice has causing me a lot off pleasure to know their own story about their life, about what has happened that the young family had to run down.
British yellow press was making up stories and were full of aggression towards new Duchess who was pregnant. I felt a huge respect for Harry and Megan and couldn't understand why people choose to act in this way towards their own Royalty. Probably, I will never knew as I am from Republic. Nonetheless, it was a great listening. Thank You Harry.

Historia
Enzi meets an enigmatic artist at a party. When he drives her home, she gives him a mysterious and damaged painting. Later, when she leaves a message that she has been arrested and is in jail, Enzi makes a mistake that has fatal consequences. 'Paper Targets' is a wild ride of a story about gifted and flawed misfits. Both riveting and heartbreaking, with memorable characters encountered along the way, the novel is based on the true events of one of the world's largest criminal frauds and the far-reaching implications of love and greed.

Revisado: 09-17-22
The Scarlet forest: a tale of Robin Hood by A.E. Chandler is a retelling of Robin Hood as a major character, who is staying in the woods and robs the rich and gives to the less fortunate. Robin is a clear leader and with his company are outlaws. There is a price on Robin's life and he should be hanged. However, the vagabond pals do robberies not even thinking to stop.
I started this book by reading a written copy in PDF, it is not the most convenient way to read, I've read one-third of the book. Then I switched to the Audible audio version beautifully narrated by Joel Benedict. It was nice listening while on walks with my dog.

Historia
This quintessential coming-of-age novel describes the early life of Stephen Dedalus. It is set in Ireland during the 19th century, which was a time of emerging Irish nationalism and conservative Catholicism. Highly autobiographical in nature, the work is also notable for its being the first one in which Joyce uses innovative “stream of consciousness” writing style. A Portrait... follows Stephen Dedalus from his babyhood into early adulthood.

Historia
Following Jane from her childhood as an orphan in Northern England through her experience as a governess at Thornfield Hall, Charlotte Brontë's Gothic classic is an early exploration of women's independence in the mid-19th century and the pervasive societal challenges women had to endure. At Thornfield, Jane meets the complex and mysterious Mr. Rochester, with whom she shares a complicated relationship that ultimately forces her to reconcile the conflicting passions of romantic love and religious piety.

Revisado: 07-05-22
The language and emotions were what I loved the most in this Audible studio production. I have listened to Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, narrated by Thandiwe Newton.
Having listened to it with joy, Jane Eyre is the kindest woman that I have come to; everything that has happened to her didn't make her bitter else. She was smooth and delicate throughout all good and bad days. Her childhood, and upbringing, made her such a good person.

Historia
This amazing tale is the story of one of America's oldest and most unusual urban hospitals. From it's inception as a "Poor House" dispensing free medical care to indigents, Chicago's Cook County Hospital has been both a renowned teaching hospital and the healthcare provider of last resort for the city's uninsured. County covers more than thirty years of its history, beginning in the late 1970s when the author began his internship, to the "Final Rounds" when the enormous iconic Victorian hospital building was replaced and hundreds of former trainees gathered to bid it an emotional farewell.

Why I liked this book is that real people and people are behind it—county hospitals for the uninsured in the USA from 1960 to 1990. It exhibited the actual life of ordinary and poor people.

Revisado: 06-13-22
Real Life Organizing by Casandra Aarssen, Peter Walsh, Audible edition narrated by Ann Richardson received a three-star review from me. I liked this book because it summarises all other types of books. How to organise and how to maintain. She has a lot of personal experience, also experience from working with clients of her own. Good tips and suggestions on how to keep the house tidy and to live easier once anyone could imagine spending only fifteen minutes a day on cleaning and with that routine enjoyable.

Historia
Our brains do their best to help us out, but every so often they can be real assholes - having meltdowns, getting addicted to things, or shutting down completely at the worst possible moments. Your brain knows it's not good to do these things, but it can't help it sometimes - especially if it's obsessing about trauma it can't overcome. That's where this life-changing book comes in. With humor, patience, science, and lots of good-ole swearing, Dr. Faith explains what's going on in your skull, and talks you through the process of retraining your brain to respond appropriately....

l have listened to Unf--k your Brain, written and narrated by Faith G. Harper; it was included with membership. The content is correct and friendly, but the representation is shabby. I was asking myself why I kept listening during way too many F words and too much swearing, so that is why this book gets three stars from my point of view.

Historia
There are qualities we all yearn to experience in our lives - peace, simplicity, grace, connection, clarity. Yet these qualities evade us, because each of them arises from an experience of wholeness, and we live in a culture that enforces divisions within each of us. In Radical Wholeness, Philip Shepherd shows the countless ways in which we are persuaded to separate from the body and live in the head. Disconnected from the body's intelligence, we also disconnect from the wholeness of the present.

Spiritual
Revisado: 06-09-22
Radical Wholeness, written and read by Philip Shepherd, which I listened to on Audible. From my perspective, it is a book, and its audio version Is very spiritual and thoughtful about life. How to achieve a state of radical Wholeness. I can't say after listening to this book, I found my wholeness. However, it was nicely read by the author, who I admire for this work. Very calming and beneficial.
