Just ends... Completely irrationally. Maybe the author died? Won't be buying any more from him.

Historia
Our universe is ruled by physics, and faster-than-light travel is not possible - until the discovery of The Flow, an extradimensional field we can access at certain points in space-time that transports us to other worlds, around other stars. Humanity flows away from Earth, into space, and in time forgets our home world and creates a new empire, the Interdependency, whose ethos requires that no one human outpost can survive without the others. It's a hedge against interstellar war - and a system of control for the rulers of the empire.

I'm very interested in your story and this world Mr Scalzi.
What I could stand listening to was compelling, in terms of literary content....
I love your other works.
But I simply cannot listen to Mr Wheaton whine anymore.
Even at 80% speed, his whiney loud, unrefined voice acting is in tolerable.
Being famous for being a child nerd prodigy is NOT a qualification to narrate audio books.
There are VASTLY more qualified and skilled people to choose from.
Side note to Wil Wheaton... Seriously man. Just go away.
