all stories are very thrilling and it keeps you at the edge of your seat. the performances are awesome. i would like to hear more of these typed of audiobooks.

hard to finish ... had to force myself to finish the story. won't be getting the rest of the books. typical set up, handsome/rich/alpha/leader vampire falls for a timid, innocent, beautiful damsel in distress who has inactive powers that needs to be unveiled. nothing interesting.

i prefer my female lead to be strong-willed, knows how to stand for herself, kick-ass, beautiful and sexy.

the male lead, still can't get over his old voice. i can't picture a hot, never getting old body with an old voice.

i thought it was good... but

it was hard to finish it .... performance by the narrator is good. just the male lead's voice is just too old, the physical body does not match the voice. i just don't feel it. female lead is ok. I prefer the professor. She's sassy, confident and go-getter... and has an appetite and isn't ashamed to show it. but the female lead is just lacking. though she's beautiful, she's just a damsel in distress. someone who needs constant saving which gets annoying.

but overall... i read/listened to better series.

I'm a fan of Mariana Zapata. The books that i have listened to usually revolves around family and this book is no different.

I like how family-oriented the lead female is and how strong she is to be taking care of 2 children that are not even her own. but... too much blabbering. too much back story instead of going straight to the point. reminds me of a girl friend who would start telling stories and would end up all over the place while I'm waiting for what her actual story is all about. it could get annoying. Would have been better if she actually did stood up for herself when it came to that Christy chick instead of being such a crybaby. but, as a single 'mother', she is strong and loving and nurturing.

as for the male lead Dallas... respectable and loving. someone who is loyal, responsible and also loves his family.. i couldn't say much of a negative about him.

Overall, i like the slow turn of events. just too much blabbering from the female lead.

material was good and straightforward... really liked that it wasn't more than 8hour listen. narrator was good but felt like he was just reading it.

over all, i like the advises and the on point of the book. would have loved to hear more stories about others.

love that the author included tips on what to do and what to say in certain situations. definitely helpful for a lot of women
