Riveting from start to finish. The author has weaved a tail that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I found it hard to put it down. The narrators were also excellent, breathing the spark of life into each character.

Touching, informative, and from the heart!

I liked the chatty style. I felt I was there with him during his Journey down those stairs. At times I was smiling, at other times I was crying. I highly recommend this book. It was an excellent read. The narrator was excellent also.

The quintessential trashy novel!

The majority of this novel was spent with the main character thinking about having sex, having sex, or talking to her best friend about having had sex. The entire story could have been told in about 20 pages saving us a further nine hours of torture. The narrator had such a mellow dramatic presentation style, that it was difficult to sit through. I certainly have no objection to a little romance in a novel, but there does need to be some mystery and suspense. This novel had neither. It was almost as though the author needed to pad out her story to feel a certain number of words rather than having a story to tell.

Abuse and control are never sexy!

The descriptions of the serial killers, the search and rescue dogs, and the geographical location were all excellent. On the other hand romance is never a situation where one person manipulates abuses and controls another person. It may seem complimentary in the initial stages but will eventually become terrifying, and will destroy the confidence and diminish the capacity of the woman being abused and controlled. For Nora Roberts to have used this type of relationship in one of her novels is very disappointing. Her characters are usually strong and there is a sense of equity in the relationship is portrayed in her novels. I sincerely hope that this type of scenario is not repeated in the future.

What made the experience of listening to Silver Shadows the most enjoyable?

Good narration; good description; much less filler than book 4.

Have you listened to any of Emily Shaffer and Alden Ford ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

yes. compairs well. Both are excellent narrators.

No but a good read .

I was concerned when I read book 4 but this was a much better experience.

Not time well spent. Not up to the standard of the other books in the series.

Not quite but getting close.

Too much sap and not enough plot. Mostly filler with lots of trite dialogue.

Reading was a bit stilted.

Most of the cute kiddy bits and a lot of the wining.

Needed to move much more swiftly and didn't keep the reader's interest. The author seemed to lose the plot.
