Historia
Jace Camden is haunted by his past. One that has many believing he got away with murder. He's run from it, trying to start a new life in a new town. But his past hasn't let him escape and it's determined that his future will not be a long one. Death will demand it's due. And his late wife will make sure that debt is paid. Kitt Thomas' life is in a rut, but that changed when she looked into the sad, haunted eyes of Jace Camden. Something about his wounded soul called to her - like a flicker in a very dark cave she should have had the sense not to step into.

very average story
Revisado: 01-10-18
This book didn't do it for me but it wasn't a bad story. The title jumped out at me and I thought I was in for an action packed adventure but that didn't happen until the very end of the book. There were a few fight scenes but they just confused me more than anything. I couldn t understand why his wife hated him so much but it wasn't until the very end that some of those questions got answered. All I can say is that I think based on the title I had different expectations so maybe it's my fault that I didn't enjoy the book so much

Historia
When his father disappears in a freak boating accident, something smells fishy to ex-marine Billy Ryder. Now, after two decades away, Billy has come back to Pleasantville, Florida, a town whose surf is only rivaled by its share of sun. Only Pleasantville isn't how he remembers it. A local gang has taken over the small fishing village and has scared the locals into submission, and worse, they just may have killed his dad for trying to stop them.

I liked all of the action and drama
Revisado: 10-11-17
The story was action packed and was predictable. I would definitely recommend this book. The narrator was pretty good. His emotions/tone didn't seem to fit some of the situations but it wasn't a big deal

Historia
When you have to kill the same terrorist twice in one week there’s either something wrong with your world or something wrong with your skills - and there’s nothing wrong with Joe Ledger’s skills. And that’s both a good and a bad thing. It’s good because he’s a Baltimore detective who has just been secretly recruited by the government to lead a new task force created to deal with the problems that Homeland Security can’t handle....

Everything moved way too fast
Revisado: 12-08-16
I received this book for free to give an unbiased review.
The pace went way too fast. To have all of those emotions and concerns for someone with little to no actions explaining why you feel so strongly makes no sense. No flirting or intense conversations but somehow you're in love?? Not lust but love?? I know people move fast nowadays but the way all of these things happened was unbelievable.
The narrator was okay but not a good fit for this story.
