He carried a smoking mirror, an obsidian mirror, a shield, darts, and the serpent Xiuhcoatl that carried with it the fury and might of the sun. Everything about him - from his clothes to his weapons - emanated and defined royalty.

Great information, very bad narration

As a narrator, at the very least, they should strive to pronounce the words in the text as accurately as possible. This narrator did nothing of the sort, and even English words referring to scientific or technical terms are mispronounced.
I did enjoy what facts are presented and would recommend the written book instead

It is the story of a traveling salesman, Gregor Samsa, who wakes up to find himself being transformed to an insect-like creature. The story unfolds into one of the greatest short fiction stories ever written.

Where does The Metamorphosis rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
a terrible robotic reading of the story - i cannot really suggest anyone buying this - i had to stop it before it drove me crazy

yes, the robotic tone of voice really made me be unable to continue listening
