author is maturing. But still has certain drawbacks

I will give the author $300 cash if they can go as solid book without using the words "juncture, glean, or probe". it's like, it's been translated from another language, and they used a thesaurus instead of a dictionary for this entire series. Even fractal, which is the basis for everything in this book series, is used wrong

it's a struggle

"Moaning Myrtle goes camping" pretty much sums up the first two hours that I've sat through. I don't know if I can go any longer. really the thing that has me hanging on, is that the narrator has a much less whiny, entitled voice for the main character whenever the menu is read
I am truly hoping that means with character development, the tone will change and it won't be such a b*** fit every 5 minutes. because I truly am intrigued by the premise of the book jacket summary

couldn't get past.. hour 3, i think. it just was one "bad luck" thing after another after another. never had a chance to root for the main character because he was such a dbag to everyone while stepping in crap pies all in a line

Jarring plot moves

The sudden random bipolar (I would know) influx of the main character's actions that seem to burn a bridge here, or just plain cause drama for ratings sake, are jarring. I have to stop near the end. The Third major one that had nothing to do with the story flow is having me throw my hands up from this series in frustration.

Narrator does amazing though ;d

if one of your triggers, is being angry at a Loosey goosey companion who always gets the main character in trouble, this one isn't for you. I couldn't get past the first 5 minutes.
