Obvious drag of story

The story itself is ok but the author repeats stuff over and over, at least 3 times. It seems to be an obvious ploy to drag it out to get more money. I understand the need for story development but the information in the story could have been imparted in 1 book of 12 hrs instead of 3 books of 9. I'll not waste any more credits to get to the end of the story.
