I’ve tried a bunch of apps and books, but Learn Mexican Spanish Like Crazy actually made the language stick. It feels like you’re chatting with a local instead of memorizing dru grammar rules. I started using it before my trip to Mexico City, and by the time I landed, I was confidently ordering tacos and chatting with drivers. It’s super fun, super real, and way more natural than anything else I’ve used.

What I really appreciated was the emphasis on authenticity and the mindset shifts needed to make real connections, rather than relying on cheesy pickup lines or gimmicks. The tips are easy to understand and, more importantly, easy to implement in real life. I especially love the chapters that focus on body language and how to read social cues, as they gave me a lot of insight into how others perceive me and how to engage with them in a positive way. If you are looking to level up your social game and connect with people more easily, this is definitely worth reading!
