Sam and Sadie—two college friends, often in love, but never lovers—become creative partners in a dazzling and intricately imagined world of video game design, where success brings them fame, joy, tragedy, duplicity, and, ultimately, a kind of immortality. Great characters and surprisingly captivating story to a non gamer.

Well written. Interesting points of view. Enjoyed the story of friendship. Not into video games at all, but that didn’t matter and was still entertained and compelled by the story. Excellently read.

Quick and enjoyable read. Full of sound, reasonable and helpful advice and information. Great illustrations to help you grasp and retain concepts and easy to put-into-practice strategies and procedures. Will likely reread. Much of the material is even applicable for improving personal finances, for managing a family, a team, a classroom….

Historia
In 2009, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performed at the Super Bowl's halftime show. The experience was so exhilarating that Bruce decided to write about it. That's how this extraordinary autobiography began. Over the past seven years, Bruce Springsteen has privately devoted himself to writing the story of his life, bringing to this audio the same honesty, humor, and originality found in his songs.

Great story and great voice.

Engagingly told. I’m a huge Bruce fan but I think anyone wanting to hear the story of an accomplished song writer and performer or just a cool guy would enjoy it too. He’s candid, charming and entertaining in this book.

Historia
How did the Wendels, one of New York’s most famous Gilded Age families, disappear from history? The Wendels built a fortune from New York real estate, and rubbed shoulders with the Astors, Vanderbilts, and Stuyvesants. But as the 19th century came to an end, the Wendel family tore itself apart. Following six years of painstaking archival research, Claire Prentice has prised open the door of the Wendels’ Fifth Avenue mansion—dubbed “the house of mystery” by the press—to reveal a fascinating and dysfunctional family imprisoned in a gilded cage.

Great characters and effortless storytelling
Revisado: 08-07-19
I love reading well written books and I love listening to great performances. Norbert Leo Butz is the best I’ve heard on Audible. It’s appreciated when readers do different voices for different characters and proper accents but he put so much excitement into the exciting scenes and sadness into the depressing ones and so on that it was a terrific bonus to get this complimentary addition on top of such an engaging, well-written story. All of the performers were excellent.

The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.
