Historia
Through the skillful application of being barely competent, Captain Iridius B. Franklin and the crew of the FSC Deus Ex have managed to triumph in not just one adventure but two. Unfortunately, despite being assured this sort of thing doesn't happen to space adventurers nearly as often as is assumed, Iridius and his crew have been flung almost a year back in time. Now, in order to stop an existential threat to the galaxy and ensure they don't cause irreparable damage to the space-time continuum, the crew of the Deus Ex must set out to find their way back to the future.

Immersive plot and storytelling
Revisado: 01-22-25
Justin Wooley strikes the same chord that Douglas Adams and Joshua Dalzelle do. Fantastic storytelling and engaging plot with plenty of humor.

Historia
He's a part-time gardener and car thief. She's a murderous nun on a holy mission from another dimension. Together, they can save the world from a politically charged alien invasion - but only if the world wants to be saved. From Max Barry, the author of Jennifer Government, Providence and Lexicon comes a satirical speculative adventure for fans of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and Adjustment Day by Chuck Palahniuk.

So bizarre but so fun
Revisado: 11-13-24
The story was inventive and fun. Diego is a great character who concisely portrays the average individual trying to navigate a very confusing and somewhat hostile world. The writer uses various characters to portray certain demographics and their idiosyncrasies, which was creative and extremely amusing. The voice acting was pretty great too, a talented and entertaining actor. Overall this was a fantastic story that is reminiscent of Douglas Adams’ style of science fiction, which is all green flags for me. I am looking forward to seeing more work from Max Barry.

Voice actors were great! Layout was not
Revisado: 12-07-22
Everything from the story to the voice acting was wonderful. However the format in which the story was told left a lot out of the story and became confusing at points. Not a bad book to listen to but tends to become background noise if you already know the story.

Very Engaged and Insightfull
Revisado: 10-18-22
Brendon does a great job of illustrating hard concepts. He has a way of captivating your attention which he pretty much teaches how to do. His outlook on purpose is particularly deep yet very easy to grasp. I hope this book helps you on your path, it certainly inspired and gave me perspective.
