Fun, quirky and heartwarming!

A fun and whimsical tale of the unlikely hero doing unlikely hero duties (i.e. trying to make a garden in unyielding soil). Me being a lover of music, I especially appreciated the inclusion of music as a talisman and a source of power. I was impressed with the narrators singing ability and felt he did a wonderful job bring that portion of the book alive. I gave only 3 stars for performance due to the fact that I felt the narration failed to bring other parts of the book alive. Mostly that of the authors wonderful witty, quirky (with a splash of) British sense of humor to life. Which is unfortunate as there were some pretty well crafted satire through out. Perhaps this is a story that needs multiple performers to bring it fully to life. Ultimately this is a well crafty tale dealing with pride, falling, redemption, humility and more redemption! Highly recommended!

Historia
In his New York Times best-selling books Extortion and Throw Them All Out, Schweizer detailed patterns of official corruption in Washington that led to congressional resignations and new ethics laws. In Clinton Cash he follows the Clinton money trail, revealing the connection between their personal fortune, their close personal friends, the Clinton Foundation, foreign nations, and some of the highest ranks of government.

Good book. narration, not so much.

Found the book to be very interesting and a lot of food for thought, however was difficult for me to get through due to the narrator. Found his voice to be very monotoned and boring. This is of course my own opinion but I will be avoiding this preformed in the future.
