one of the best fantasy novels I've read in a while

I've spent my life reading fantasy and sci-fi. they all seem to fall into tropes, this one does not it's magic system alone is one that is beautiful and it's simplicity a balance for balance sake. even the struggle itself is to find a balance that is something that is severely lacking in our world.

Narrator pronunciations mistakes

i love this book and the whole Sword of Truth series but this book was almost ruined by Dick Hills mispronunciation of main character and place names every time he says the female leads name it trips up the flow of the book
