Classic sports romance at its best

A beautiful, well developed romance.I love the way, Susan Elizabeth Phillips delves into the underlying issues of her characters and weaves it all into an interesting, engaging, funny, sweet, romantic, and spicy romance. And with Anna fields at the narration, this is a story you can listen to again and again.

Great advice for more than just network marketers

I found this very inspiring and informative. Even though I am not in network marketer, I found a lot of interesting ideas in this book. And Michelle does a beautiful job narrating. She’s very down to earth and she has a lovely voice.

Great Sci-Fi Romance!

Well written story with interesting characters and an actual plot. Very refreshing- not an abduction romance which I am still hoping to see done well - more of a two against the world scenario with some grit and heart. Romantic but not home over the top, sexy without letting the steam take over the story, and a very satisfying ending. Well done. This was my second time reading this several years apart and it was just as good the second time around. Oh and great world-building too!

Excellent Resource on Aligning Your Brand & Series

Really appreciated this book on how to leverage a series by identifying and monetizing your brand, utilizing the most marketable elements of your work. As authors we often think of our 'product' as a unique work of art - because, of course, it is. But that's very hard to put into words when it comes to marketing.

This book helps you pull out those elements that have broad appeal to a particular market, identify where you might be missing the mark slightly and improve those areas. It was just what I was looking for.

Also loved listening to the author read the book herself, she has a very appealing and entertaining style. It includes a step by step map of how to plan your next series for increased success. Thank you so much for sharing, Zoe York!

Very well written thriller

I took a chance on this because I liked the narrator in the sample and even though it only had one review - and it was a 1 star - they didn't say why they didn't like it - so I thought - I'll give it a try. I'm so glad I did.

This is a new-to-me author and I thought he did a great job of portraying a person whose life has been stolen by his participation in the witness protection program. What I really liked was that it wasn't so fast paced you got whiplash and the action scenes were believable and realistic. You do have to pay attention in the beginning because there are 4 different POV characters and they switch fast due to the short chapters. In audible, that can get you a little mixed up. Just rewind. It all works out.

I would have loved to see a little romance - but that's just me. This is a thriller so I can't count that off. Still maybe if there is a follow-up to this story? Anyway the characters were well developed and interesting and the story was intriguing and kept me wondering about the backstory right through the book. So that was fun.

If you like stories with great characters, some action, some intrigue and some plotting - you will enjoy this book. Very well narrated too.
