Historia
In the mid-1980s the Snow White Killer terrorized the streets of Nashville, Tennessee. Then suddenly the murders stopped. A letter from the killer to the police stated that his work was done. Now four more bodies are found, marked with his fatal signature. The residents of Nashville fear a madman has returned, decades later, to finish his sick fairy tale. Homicide Lieutenant Taylor Jackson believes the killings are the work of a copycat killer who's even more terrifying.

Very likeable characters in a good who done it.

This was a little predictable but you get so invested in the characters you don’t care.

Very slow
Revisado: 04-11-24
This book takes too long to tell. There were enough good bits to make me finish it but I wish I had not read it. Just ok. It’s a sad story about two women in a man’s world.

Historia
On December 16, 1998, Ronda Reynolds' husband found her lifeless body with a gunshot wound to the head in her home on Twin Peaks Drive in Toledo, Washington. The death was quickly ruled a suicide. Refusing to accept the findings, Ronda’s mother, Barb Thompson, launched her own investigation. She enlisted the help of world-famous true crime writer Ann Rule, who eventually wrote the bestseller “In the Still of the Night”, about the case. Their investigation led Washington State authorities to revisit the case. “48 Hours" correspondent Peter Van Sant reports. This classic "48 Hours" ...

Travesty of justice because a policeman inserted his opinion. 48 hours should have highlighted that.

Historia
England in the 1520s is a heartbeat from disaster. If the king dies without a male heir, the country could be destroyed by civil war. Henry VIII wants to annul his marriage of 20 years and marry Anne Boleyn. The pope and most of Europe opposes him. Into this impasse steps Thomas Cromwell: a wholly original man, a charmer and a bully, both idealist and opportunist, astute in reading people, and implacable in his ambition. But Henry is volatile: one day tender, one day murderous. Cromwell helps him break the opposition, but what will be the price of his triumph?

Historia
Laugh-out-loud funny and deeply touching, Beth Hoffman's sparkling debut is, as Kristin Hannah says, "packed full of Southern charm, strong women, wacky humor, and good old-fashioned heart." It is a novel that explores the indomitable strengths of female friendship and gives us the story of a young girl who loses one mother and finds many others.

This is such a great read. The characters are beautifully developed slowly through stories that make you smile. It’s the perfect beach read; overcoming life’s obstacles through prayer, female friends, laughter and bits of wisdom. Wish it was longer.

Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.
