Sooo I loved everything about this but it’s like the author lost interest and just threw in a twist so big you truly never saw it coming just so she could end it. I don’t know how I feel about it now. Like..... what?!

This book captured my attention from page 1. Although there are parts of the audio book where it switches back and forth from great to poor audio quality, it’s still worth every minute. I’ve always been a fan of dark thrillers and this was one of the best books I’ve listened to in a while, highly highly recommend and now I’m excited to check out book 2 in this series

I’ll admit, I’m shocked I enjoyed this so much

I hate zombie stories. I cannot emphasize this enough. To me there is nothing more cheesy, overdone, or boring than another walking dead remake.
That being said, I really did enjoy this book. I liked the approach to the story, 2nd generation hungries and the new version of man kind. I’ll probably avoid watching the movie based on this novel because well..... zombies = bad acting but I will highly recommend this book.

The ending was so obscure. I was hooked the entire time and then the ending just ruined the story. They could have written so many good possible endings and they chose what they did and took a 5 Star book down to a 3.

I loved the energy of the teacher but the story overall was a little crazy and far fetched and to be honest the open ending drove me crazy. It definitely stole my interest at times but at others I was bored and I really with I could have known how the whole story ended.

I loved everything about the story, very gripping BUT the readers performance didn't express the book in the right light for me. She was too calm, reserved for a girl that suffered as much as she did.
