Prophecy coming true
Revisado: 04-24-25
Fascinating series! Intriguing; important to get right with God! It’s amazing how enamored people can become, and how brainwashed they can become! I sure hope I’m caught up in the Rapture; I do not want to be involved in the Tribulation!

Too repetitive
Revisado: 04-19-25
While I really appreciated the Christian aspect of this book, the references to God and the Biblical passages, I had a difficult time listening to the narrator and the constant repetition of the circumstances plaguing the main character. I think this book would only be half as long if all the repetitions were removed! I have read other books that were much better written. I’m glad this was a “free” book and I didn’t waste money on it.

Intriguing
Revisado: 04-12-25
Excellent narrator; intriguing storyline; and a real “page-turner “! I had a hard time putting the book down as the story unfolded. A difficult subject matter but I found myself rooting for the “accused”! A thriller; suspenseful; a great Grisham book!

Exciting
Revisado: 04-04-25
Exciting, but sometimes a little hard to follow because of location changes, “scientific jargon”, and time frame changes. I love listening to Ray Porter, so stayed with the book. I did like the book for the most part, except for the ending! It left me hanging! I guess there’s a second book to pick up where this left off??

Historia
In this stirring audiobook, David McCullough tells the intensely human story of those who marched with General George Washington in the year of the Declaration of Independence, when the whole American cause was riding on their success, without which all hope for independence would have been dashed and the noble ideals of the Declaration would have amounted to little more than words on paper.

Never give up!
Revisado: 03-22-25
What an amazing account of the perseverance of Washington and his loyal officers and soldiers! The hand of God was upon them and a true miracle that they were victorious. History came alive for me with this well-written book, full of personal accounts and shared emotions. It’s a wonder that we became an independent United States!

Historia
He was a survivor - a wanderer who traded tales for food and shelter in the dark and savage aftermath of a devastating war. Fate touches him one chill winter’s day when he borrows the jacket of a long-dead postal worker to protect himself from the cold. The old, worn uniform still has power as a symbol of hope, and with it he begins to weave his greatest tale, of a nation on the road to recovery. This is the story of a lie that became the most powerful kind of truth.

Captivating story
Revisado: 03-12-25
A strong, independent woman in the late 1800’s, in a gold-rush town was a truly captivating story! I thoroughly enjoyed the book. The characters were all well-defined, interesting and easy to really like or not. I highly recommend reading the book!

Exciting story. Performed well. I especially liked hearing the different voices for all the characters, which made it easier to distinguish between them. The movie was a little different from the book, but I certainly enjoyed them both.
