Falls flat on humor. Storyline was mediocre at best. Didn't really care much for the characters. I was a bit appalled at the sexual content of this book. I am by no means a prude, but I like to listen to the audio versions while I work. I am a mail carrier and I spend between 5 hours driving 6 days a week. I definitely would not want my customers to have overheard me listening to this.

Ugh! Way too long, way too repetitive and way too slow. I couldn't wait to get to the end of this story, not because I was excited to hear how it ended... just because I wanted it to end.

Quite Impressive
Revisado: 10-15-12
Rob Lowe's performance of his book was excellent...even the voices of the people throughout his life were very good impersonations. It was fun to listen to a book about someone and not only hear it in their own words, but in their own voice as well. I enjoyed this story and a sneak peek into the life of Rob Lowe.

Science starts to get interesting when things don't make sense. Science's best-kept secret is that there are experimental results and reliable data that the most brilliant scientists can neither explain nor dismiss. If history is any precedent, we should look to today's inexplicable results to forecast the future of science. Michael Brooks heads to the scientific frontier to meet 13 modern-day anomalies and discover tomorrow's breakthroughs.

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Fantastic!
Revisado: 09-29-12
Initially I was skeptical about whether this would be a book I would enjoy, but the reviews were so good that I decided to give it a try. Within the first half hour I was hooked. It is a fantastic story, an amazing concept and Stephen King is undoubtedly a master. His writing surely sets him apart from so much of the drivel that is out there these days. After a few hours of listening I went to amazon and bought the hard cover to add to my collection and I found myself constantly recommending this book to others. The narrator is INCREDIBLE! I can't stand listening to a story and not being able to tell whom is speaking, but that never happens with this narration. Each character is distinguishable and there are ALOT of characters. While listening, I forgot that it was one person reading a story. Craig Wasson is remarkable at his craft and I am impressed by his artistry.

Great Listen! Great Story!
Revisado: 09-29-12
I enjoyed this story and found the presentation as a narrative to a "psychiatrist" whom we are never really introduced to or hear from to be quite unique. The way the story unfolds is surprising and heartwrenching. The ending is perfect...it doesn't dredge on, but is neatlly wrapped up. The narration is excellent with all the characters distinguishable from one another and the inflection and emotions believable.

Cute human love story for canine lovers
Revisado: 08-19-12
This is a cutsie story, but very predictable. I have an interest in canine search and rescue, so I did find the dog training portions interesting. I had a hard time distinguishing between the narrator's female voices and often had to rewind to figure out who was supposed to be talking.
