Historia
When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

Okay. No character development. Lots of cliches that really stood out due to lack of immersion. Doubt I'll return to this author. Narrator was great though!

Historia
In this provocative new book, Rifkin argues that the coming together of the Communication Internet with the fledgling Energy Internet and Logistics Internet in a seamless twenty-first-century intelligent infrastructure—the Internet of Things—is boosting productivity to the point where the marginal cost of producing many goods and services is nearly zero, making them essentially free.

Facepalm
Revisado: 12-30-15
In the beginning, the book tries to make the argument that capitalism will disappear as profit margins shrink due to technology increasing productivity. The author is too narrow minded and self-confident. By 15 min into the audio book, the author's assertions were full of holes. At 20 min, I decided to call it.

Historia

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Who needs the pause button?
Revisado: 12-19-14
You will get grumpy every single time you have to hit pause. If you are a nerd or a space nut this is a must read. I was impressed by Andy Weir's diverse knowledge. This book has everything from from *nix shared libraries (/usr/lib/habcomm.so) to composting.
The story and narration were amazing, but this book isn't for little ears. Quite a bit of cursing, but it always seems justified.
The science was pretty darn accurate. I caught a few minor mistakes, but considering the complexity of the topics, they were easy to forgive. In fact I have to read it again to remember what they even were.
If the title of the book catches your eye, you will probably love this book.
