Historia
On its 40th anniversary, Krishnamurti was invited to speak to the United Nations. He was then 90 years old, and they used the opportunity to give him a peace medal. The editors at the Krishnamurti Foundation of America were then requested to add more content from various recorded talks to create a book to be distributed by the World Future Society. The book was given out for free at their convention in Washington, D.C. in 1992 but other than that it has never been published. The location of the talks transcribed ranges from Brussels to Mumbai, and from San Diego to Colombo.

Clarity of concepts
Revisado: 01-12-25
Krishnamurti has hours and hours of lectures/talks available and they are all worth the time. But for some people he is difficult to listen to. His cadence, emphasis’s and accent can be off putting and it can feel like getting to a point is a slog (I don’t have that experience but I’ve heard it mentioned by others). This collection and another book - “As One Is” - have narrators and I’ve been told they are much more succinct and easy to comprehend. I always suggest either of those books to anyone just being introduced to Krishnamurti. The points / concepts are made clearly and succinctly. Highly recommend either for anyone looking to understand what Jiddu Krishnamurti’s concepts are all about.

Historia
In Terry Pratchett's Reaper Man, Death has left Discworld - but that's not necessarily a good thing. After all, chaos always ensues whenever important public services are withdrawn, and Discworld is no exception. Society is suddenly overrun by ghosts and poltergeists, while Dead Rights activist Reg Shoe finds himself busier than he's ever been and newly-deceased wizard Windle Poons rises from his coffin as a living corpse.

One of STP’s best endings ever!
Revisado: 07-27-23
Hilarious book overall. Some of the best dialog ever and the ending is one of, if not the, most satisfying I’ve encountered. Very funny and thought provoking book. Highly recommend!

Historia
The Man is among the most powerful beings on the planet and has controlled human affairs on Earth through his influence over world leaders, the media, corporations, banks, schools and militaries our entire lives. But as powerful as he is, The Man still faces competition from The Cabal—a secret society of families that claim to be descended of the true creators of mankind and feel entitled to dominion over the human race, and the Draco—advanced reptilian beings that consider Earth a colony of their intergalactic empire and live underground, exploiting our negative emotions as an energy source.

Labor of love, logic & retaining sanity I’m sure…
Revisado: 02-26-23
Ambitious and audacious. What’s not to love when executed so well. Hard to believe this is your first outing as a published author. The whole concept and execution are very well done - from the words written on the page (literally - in calligraphy!) to the art work included in the book to the authors own reading of the audio book… all done exceptionally well. Impressive all around. Highly recommend to anyone who’s found themselves questioning the sanity of society as a whole.
