Historia
In a world full of super powers, Felix had a pretty crappy one. After learning to harness his ability to modify any item he owns, he now runs a corporation that is rapidly expanding - Legion. After tangling with the local Heroes guild they’ve finally settled into a semblance of stability. Sounds great on paper. Run your company, make money, be your own boss, settle down. Except that with running a business, comes an inordinate amount of responsibilities. Like making sure everything keeps running and your people are paid.

Nothing really stuck with me.
Revisado: 02-21-24
It was okay, not exactly what I thought this book would be like based on the description. Some parts were a struggle to get through. The story rambled at times, nothing too good or too bad, it was just ok.

This book was great
Revisado: 01-18-24
I really enjoyed this book. As an older woman, I could relate to the characters and how they felt, their experiences of love, loss and life. So often we are underestimated because we're not up on the latest technology or fads, but experience and cunning goes a long way. These ladies showed they had the ability physically and mentally to outsmart those who came for them. They are my heroes. The book was well written and the narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life. It was full of acton, reflection and of lives well lived.

Historia
A horror-comedy starring Fred Armisen! Living corpses have taken over Mart Club the night before Black Friday, but if Bob forgets to bring home milk, he’ll be dead meat. For Bob, working on Thanksgiving is a necessary evil. After getting laid off from his corporate job, he’s lucky to have an income at all. But that’s just the kind of guy he is: always able to see the bright side, especially if it involves building an eye-catching holiday display. Definitely shift supervisor material. Unfortunately, the dead don’t care if you have a positive outlook. They just want you to be dead, ...

Demons at the grocery store
Revisado: 12-26-23
It was a little stupid, overlooking the obvious. But that fact made it somewhat funny and worth listening to. I thought the story could have had a few more details about Richard in the beginning. The demons were a gruesome bunch. Guess they didn't need anything other than the workers.

Historia
If the broken neon signs, shuttered storefronts, and sub-standard housing didn’t tip you off, you’ve just wandered into the city of “Undisclosed”. You don’t want to be caught dead here, because odds are you just might find yourself rising from the grave. That hasn’t stopped tourists from visiting to check out the unusual phenomena that hangs around our town like radioactive fallout. Interdimensional parasites feeding on human hosts, paranormal cults worshipping demonic entities, vengeful teenage sorcerers, we’ve got it all.

Revisado: 10-27-23
I really liked this reading. I have all the Vampire Hunter D books, so this was definitely a treat. There was an animated movie version released in the '80's, wish there was another one now with the advancement of the anime process. The narrator was pretty good and made the story believable. Will definitely listen to the next book in the series.

Wonderful Production
Revisado: 09-27-23
I am truly a Sandman fan. This production really brings the story to life. I have all the graphic novels and some spinoffs of the Sandman, and I felt as though the production created a mental visual imagery that went beyond those in the books. Also, I found that I understood the story lines better in this format.

An Intensely good thriller
Revisado: 12-04-22
Zachary Quinto did a great job with this character and really brought him to life. I was really engaged and invested in the story and its outcome. He narrated the book The Dispatcher and I thought he did a great job with the characters. His focus on being the main character in this book really showed his acting skills and his ability to draw you in. You almost feel sympathy for him. This was an enjoyable listen, especially if you're into serial killers and what drives them.

Done in the ultimate egotistical Super hero style
Revisado: 11-23-22
Just what truly narcissistic famous super heroes need. Write a book about yourself, your struggles, your triumphs and convince the audience to emphasize and feel sorry for you, then celebrate you. Nevermind the fact that aside from being a super hero you're as dumb as a brick. It was a good listen, the overall performance made it believable, almost like the narrators have dealt with people like that. Love watching the Boys. Homelander needs to do a book too.

Good listen
Revisado: 11-21-22
Good listen. Funny at times, definitely a lot of wit and sarcasm. There is a little too much exposition that borders on rambling. The narrator did a good job of giving each character a personality. This story gives a great twist on Greek mythology and the role of the gods and their interactions with mortals.
