Great advice for anyone!

So I'm a business owner and I see a therapist/life coach to help me with some of the stress I feel about my work and decision making. He recommended this book and I'm so glad I read it (listened to it). The author is an attorney and many stories are about her experiences in the courtroom but she relates them all to any person/profession. I feel like I've acquired some coping skills after reading this!

Renewed my love of reading! And Listening!

It was so nice to read a book that was finally able to capture my attention to the point where I'm missing appointments and considering calling out from work! This was an incredible read start to finish, I could not put my phone down for 2 full days.
Potential spoilers!
The writer has a wonderful style that is just so intriguing. We heard the story from 4 different points of view, including the story's protagonist. I won't go so far to say I felt sorry for her but I was able to understand her particular kind of crazy a little better. The author painted the story of her life and history that made you understand how she got to this place.
From the first chapters, we are hearing from Ellie and Laurel's point of view. The "Who" of the story becomes somewhat obvious because the author gives it to us, but the "Why" "How" and "Who Else" is the big question. Throughout the story the author gives us some tidbits from Elle and Noelle that give us a special insight that our main character does not yet have. We want so badly for her to get these too so she will finally have the peace of knowing what really happened. In so many ways, the author just knows how to spin a story that will keep you reading.
And the narration was just lovely. She was able to do these different voices like a pro, I especially liked the Irish accent. A narrator (in my opinion) can make or break a book in the first chapter.
