The premise of the story is pretty basic, but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. I hope to see more work done by this author pretty soon.

It's interesting to hear from the perspective of a man who looks as old as he actually is. Despite what the many haters of the series say, the Iron druid universe grabbed me by the ears and had me eager to listen to whatever voice Like Daniels imitated. It has it's flaws don't get me wrong, but I feel this is the beginning of a fantastic series. I look forward to book two.

I like it, if only I understood football.

I loved it, but the narrator mumbled a lot and I couldn't understand everything said. there were points I had to rewind to understand what was said.

Kyell gold does amazing furry novels. you don't need to understand football to enjoy this story of two special boys who want to live their lives together. I usually don't like romantic subplots, (they feel fake) but stories like this make me understand why so many authors sprinkle a bit of romance if they want the reader to feel even a fraction of what I felt listening to this tale of pride, paws, and football.
