One Pound a Day
Revisado: 09-17-20
I listened to Dave's diet after having loved his Game Changers Book. What a gift! I have tried many diets that for others seem to work. I want to regift a part that will work if you are looking for an easy Intermittent Fast that will assist you in losing weight quickly (15# in 14 days so far and a revitalized career). I call myself "Butter Brain" now... Grass-fed butter, Mct Oil and French Press Organic Coffee from Central America is better (listen to his tape) . Get a manual frother to make the coffee taste and look better. This is your brekkie. That's it! You won't need more, promise. The energy is amazing, no jitters, just pure performance. This is amazing coffee and it works just like Dave describes: your brain fires on all 8 cylinders or even more (Jaguar-like!). I handle complex processes and lead over 500 people and have never had such clarity.. It draws out your thoughts, experience and even courage... that is just the start. Thanks Dave!!!

This book uses data points, not suppositions to support its thesis. Very needed and hopefully will be more diffused.

Historia
In The Endangered Customer, Richard Shapiro presents a proven strategy to create loyalty in the age of the empowered consumer. He shows why a "people first" approach is more important than ever and offers a road map any business can follow to deliver a welcoming and personalized customer experience at every touch point. Companies invest heavily in technology to manage their customers and earn repeat business, but high-tech approaches have fallen short according to Shapiro.

Historia
Christiana Mara Coelho was born into extreme poverty in Brazil. After spending the first seven years of her life with her loving mother in the forest caves outside São Paulo and then on the city streets, where they begged for food, she and her younger brother were suddenly put up for adoption. When one door closed on the only life Christiana had ever known, a new one opened. As Christina Rickardsson, she’s raised by caring adoptive parents in Sweden, far from the despairing favelas of her childhood. Accomplished and outwardly “normal”, Christina is also filled with rage over what she’s lost....

A story of many, this time from the favelas
Revisado: 12-16-18
The story is compelling. A journey from the slums of Sao Paulo to the rural life of Sweden and the childhood memories that simultaneously haunt her and currently impel her to act to help children at risk.

Learning to Slow Down is my takeaway
Revisado: 05-24-12
Where does Just Listen rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Very high - it provides a skill set that I am awful at and really has helped me as recently as yesterday while in a meeting!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Just Listen?
Finding out that there are psychopaths in the board room helped me reaffirm that leaving certain companies was a welcome change. Giving Power Thank Yous was very memorable too.
Have you listened to any of Walter Dixon’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No - but he is good!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but that was not really possible, plus this type of book needs to be re-listened to, to really understand the techniques and internalize them.
