there are few books that I truly look forward to listening too but Terry Mancours spellmonger series is one of the few I look forward to anytime he releases a new addition to the series. it is the series I judge all others upon as he writes so comprehensively and always brings a new tale that keeps me easily invested in the series. I believe the author to be a genius and his ability to bring characters to life and the issues they face are brilliantly done and his world building is second to none. I truly wish Netflix or Amazon would recognize this masterwork for what it is and make a visual series even if it was animated it would in my opinion become one of the most watched series and should be one of the most read series there is! wonderful to read about a man and his people striving to better themselves and the land they live upon and fight for a sense of inclusive rightness that is so easily eschewed in our own world. decency is what you will see over and over again from the protagonists of this series and I cannot get enough! thank you Terry Mancour for taking the time to continue writing about the Spellmonger and his challenges! so far is been a true pleasure and I always look forward to more! the end was so abrupt

the end was so abrupt and maddening its the perfect way to make sure everyone that has read or listened through he who fights monsters series will stick around for the 11th book. I wasn't prepared for the story to be at such a great climax and then just stop. needless to say I'll be looking to see when the next installment of this really fun interesting sometimes harrowing many times comedic series continues! till then thank you to everyone involved i truly enjoy listening to he who fights monsters and applaud their work as some of the best out there in the lit rpg niche!

I have nothing but admiration for Terry Mancours Series The Spellmonger! I wish I lived in this world and was friends with the mad mage and could aid in his endeavors as a fellow magi! The Spellmonger is the greatest series I have ever read and will probably ever read! I look so forward to the continuation of this series and how the life and times of the Spellmonger and Calidor and his many many friends and foes! thank you Mr. Terry Mancour for creating a world I truly enjoy and think about often! your a true master of your craft and make listening so much fun and interesting! take care I wish you the best good health and many days filled with writing the future of Calidor and The Spellmonger!

second time through I caught a lot more and found the book just as awesome as the first time around! I love this idea and would love to have the time to sit and write my own version with a different crawler the plot is fun as hell! I find myself saying God dammit doughnut when my children do something stupid now or make a mess. catch phrase is doing its job and is very catchy! anyways thank you to the author for this masterpiece I look forward to tomorrow when I can read the next installment butchers mascaraed! please keep writing this awesome series!

great ending to a great series

really enjoyed this book series! the author had this all planned out perfectly so that we as listeners could just enjoy the ride and he ended it on a perfect note! thank you for the great listen. the narrator is one of my all time favorites he is a true talent in the audible world and I always look forward to hearing him narrate! thank you Jeff for always giving a wonderful performance you truly have found your calling!

dungeon crawler carl has everything that a reader could want and then some! what that is amounts to a wild ride a lot of really great banter and stellar characters! Carl and donut are two of my favorite protagonists because they come across as real and unlikely heros! I relistened as a way to prepare for book 5 release on the 26th but really it's just an excuse to listen to this masterpiece again and I will probably listen again in the near future! thanks to one of the best narrators in the game as he brings Carl and Donut to life and truly kicks some ass!

Spellmonger is the greatest

hands down this is the greatest book of the Spellmonger series to date! while reading I just wish I had someone to share the experience with as there were parts that blew my mind because I cannot believe the depths of Mr. Terry Mancours mind and his ability to write something so profound and awesome it took me by surprise his ability to communicate his ponderings and ability to truly appreciate the wisdom that makes a wizard a truly good wizard. i coin myself fortunate to have listened to Footwizard and all of the Spellmonger series! by far my favorite literary works! Mr. Terry Mancour you have my heartfelt thanks for what you have put down on paper for us listener's to experience and I appreciate the truly fine knowledge and better yet wisdom your writings impart to those whom have the like mind to appreciate! Wonderful imagining someone so centered, kind, full of love and selfless as a force for good in the world of Calidor(sorry if I spelled that wrong)! perhaps one day we will appreciate leaders such as Minalyn in our own world so that we may achieve a tithe of progress and prosperity he and his friends and followers really family has! truly for me his ability to handle such adversity while remaining true to himself is a work of high art! thank you sir Wizard for your art as I am looking so forward to what is to come in the continuation of the Spellmongers journey! cheers

exactly the type of story that one would imagine would follow a great talent user! VERY excited to have had to opportunity to have read this account and recommend to anyone that enjoys the exploits of magic users that live for thousands of years!
