I really enjoyed the previous books but Paris Apt was already meh.. this one though.. so bad! I felt obligated to skip chapters and finish it I bought it. Not even getting at your local library

Beautifully written, honest and somewhat meditative. I was curious (as I navigate my own BP diagnosis) and somewhat afraid. But it was a great pleasure to spend time in Sarah’s company and cheer on her recovery and personal growth. I wish her much happiness and for everyone to discover this little gem of a book

I’d this book on my list since it’s debut but read GIM first and kept it shelved until now. I’m so glad I finally got around it! Once again the word that comes to mind upon finishing his novel is: what a pleasure! The narrator was also very enjoyable!

I’ve loved her books and look forward to the newest one (guilty pleasure? Or just pleasure :) I enjoyed the last One by One, but this one is pretty bad! It isn’t jus let that the main character is weak & unsure, and you don’t care enough about the dead girl to even dislike her enough.. the main character is just so boring! The whole story is, and the length seems to be trying to justify its importance when in the end it’s all fluff, but the bad kind. I might be over my commitment:)

Don’t fall for the hype

Just don’t... waste your money or time.. I enjoyed her previous book and saw this one on every “must read list” (kudos to publicist) so I fell for it... but you don’t have to! I pushed/ punished myself to finish it. It’s just really not a good book, unfortunately (not even worth getting into details, such a thin “story”

I’m giving this all starts, because it is that much of a delight of a book. If you’ve read through enough reviews and know yourself well enough (to know what you’re in the mood for, and are feeling like this might be it, go for it). We’re still not over the pandemic & I’m dealing w a health issue so yeah, maybe I’m appreciating it more than usual, which isn’t to say it isn’t worth every gold start it receives!

Another new book I bought based on blogs/ critics I listen to... I love films, so it was interesting reading about behind the scenes.. story amusing enough. The protagonist is maybe on spectrum? Which is fine if the author didn’t ramble endlessly from her POV...
