Historia
Follow the Science recounts, in exacting detail, how far the pharmaceutical industry and its supporters in medicine, media, and government will go to protect their profits. Attkisson provides shocking examples that reveal the disturbing callousness our government, public health officials, and top researchers are capable of when it comes to the most vulnerable among us. And she explains, in a graphic sense, how some of the most trusted within our society are willing to commit life-threatening ethics violations.

i’ve read and listened to a lot of material covering these topics. None have been so articulate, focussed, and comprehensive as Cheryl Atkinson‘s coverage.
Highly recommended !

Historia
How had Gandhi transformed himself from an ineffective young lawyer into the Mahatma, the “great soul” who led 400 million ordinary men and women in their nonviolent struggle for independence? To find out, Easwaran visited Gandhi’s ashram and watched the Mahatma absorbed in meditation on the Bhagavad Gita – the wellspring of Gandhi’s spiritual strength.

Too short :-)

I was very touched and moved by this story. However, the title "Gandhi the Man" implies that it would also address more earthly, mundane matters, such as Gandhi’s complex relationships and responsibilities to his wife and children, but it never did.
I felt the performance was perfect. I loved the different accents that the reader skillfully used: American, when Americans were speaking, Indian, when Indians were speaking, and British, when British were speaking, etc. These accents added tremendous texture and clarity to the book for me.

I got so much out of this book! And it was really wonderful to hear it read by the author himself.
