Historia
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

This is a phenomenal book!

I liked the voice actor very much, however I was able to anticipate how several characters would sound based on race. I don't blame the reader, but I think multiple voice actors might improve the process 🤔.
Audio books are approaching (or exceeding) a narrative equal to meny movies or TV shows aren't they? This is a great voice actor with many options, but I can't help but wonder why one person is (Still) speaking for a (great) meny.

Multiple characters
Revisado: 02-10-21
I've read "The Land" and am a big fan. "Monsters" and now "Gods eye" could use some fulfilling supporting characters. That being said, I am grateful the author didn't make me any more emotionally attached to this story's fallen.

Historia
When newly-single party girl Vicki moves to Paris, she hopes to indulge in wine, stuff her face with croissants, and fall in love. It proves to be much more difficile than she imagined. In this laugh-out-loud memoir, this cheeky storyteller recounts the highs and lows of her life in the City of Light. Sassy and shamelessly honest, Vicki makes you feel as if you're right there in Paris stumbling along the cobblestones with her. Will she find love? Will she learn to consume reasonable amounts of alcohol? Will French bureaucracy ever cut her a break?

Truly disappointed.
Revisado: 01-26-19
I was looking forward to this book and it started out ok, I enjoyed the tips of acclimating to the Paris lifestyle. Then it quickly just became the rantings of a whinny girl. She attempts humor by mocking the French at every turn, while trying to make you believe she really loves it in Paris. I hot so sick of her constant bitching I could barely finish it. I am truly disappointed I spent money on this childish and pedantic rant.
