This book was hard to "read" since the reader kept repeating words and section trying to get it correct. Seems like whoever was to prof listen the book never did. The book needed to be edited to make this easier to "listen to". There are background noise like doors opening and the reader drinking water. You QA fell down on the job! I feel for the writer and reader.

Great story

I loved reading the book. The story was well developed with well developed plot, and world. The rules for this world are consistent and well understood. The interaction both "G" and "X" rated follow a normal progression. There isnt "R" rates parts just for the heck of it. Those parts of the book enrich the story and not distract from the story. This is a Love story in a true sense of the story. I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to read a love story with many reasons why it shouldn't work but ends in success for each parties needs!

Well written and it makes you think

I am not sure why I bought these books, if it was for religious poundering or the spy craft that would be involved if this was real. Either reason I have not been disappointed. Noah's family reminds me of mine in some ways. I live near areas this book is set so it so it seems more "real" and easier to see in my mind. I have had to question beliefs regarding God and Country. What do I believe our Government should be able to to in the name of public safety vs our our rights. How far is to far for me, personally, to go to protect my family and my relationship with God. At what point, did or would The USA no longer be the same country that our Founding Fathers created as well as how I would feel about the changes in the book.

However it could just be a good high energy action packed book to read! Books can be whatever you want it to be!

Helps show how different people think. The process never fails to amaze me , how children can adapt and thrive.

This is a brave story of a girl and her dog, a father fighting with his past and present and a supportive school system and Uncle.

Helps with understanding and questioning our lives

I love all of Max Lucado's books. He has a way of putting God's words into current affairs and making the relevant to my life. The question at the end make you stop and check your relationship with God and others. This book put the events around Christ's birth is a slightly different light allowing a better understanding of the responses of all.

Just a man and his dog

I wanted to read this week because my family has raising services puppies for year! I was impressed with the honesty that author had in this book. I think it was important for the reader to better understand how much of a difference can be made in a person's life with a service dog.

I am sorry that people with service animals have to deal with other ideas on the value of your partner (the dog). ADA has been in effect for over 25 years and we still haven't leveled the playing field to aid our disabled citizens. The authors point on the amount of injured vets and the effects of TBI are something that our society needs to be more aware of and address. Our vets need to be honored and cared for. We owe them our freedom and they do deserve accountability for their leaders actions!

What a book!

Loved the book! Good vs. Evil, right vs. wrong.....the story is written by who ever wins. I can't wait to see who ends up winning!

Characters are developed and not just thin ideas. There are many little stories that move you to the end of the book and makes you want to start the next book the same day.
