Felt rushed?

I don’t know how a book makes it into printing that doesn’t have one synonym for the word “said” but once I noticed it I couldn’t not hear it. “Zed said” “Zane said,” etc. there was also a few times where the cadence of the speaker seemed off compared to the story, but none of this is a deal breaker. Pretty good ending to the trilogy.

The story is intriguing and has all the Eberron flair: investigations, intrigue, blurred morality, airships, etc. the performance had a few hiccups in pronunciation or tone, but overall I enjoyed the various accents and mannerisms the characters portrayed.

Classic work of fiction

The whole collection in one book. Lots of intrigue and investigation. It’s a dated mindset of the author, a lot of off-hand sexism and racism (for those who are sensitive to such things) but otherwise good storytelling.

Fantastic edition to the series

The previous books are amazing for their world building and intricate storytelling. This one is even better, it’s obvious that Sanderson has done his homework on mental health and emotional trauma, and his characters faithfully represent that. He keeps the war important, but shows how the individual’s problems are affecting how they act and what they go through. One of the best books I’ve read/listened to.

Hard to stop listening, it was so enticing. Sanderson writes such unique world's. Kramer adds just enough inflection and accent to characters to never get them mixed up, and helps bring the world to life. loved it
