Historia
Sophie never considered ghostwriting as a side gig, until former actress and aspiring lifestyle guru, Tilly Stratford, trophy wife of Wesley Winthrope, needs someone to write her celebrity cookbook. Sophie agrees, hoping she'll earn enough bread on this assignment to finish her bathroom renovations. But as it turns out, Sophie isn't the first foodie to get a taste for recipe ghostwriting, and if the marginalia are any indication, this project could be a killer....

Elementary

Weak predictable and annoying in audio. The narrator has a sharp pronunciation over emphasizing compound words

Disappointed
Revisado: 11-15-17
I couldn’t get past chapter 7. I tried, but this hodgepodge of nonsense was insulting. There is nothing humorous about this story, and it’s not even a repeat of same old— it’s just a cycle of stupidity. Absolutely done with this series.

Couldn't finish
Revisado: 04-22-17
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I love Ellery Adams stories and decided to try Charmed Pie series but can't cope with the narration. It was so annoying that I stopped at chapter 3 left it for a month and tried again, after 30 minutes of being more annoyed with the narration than enjoyment with the story, I deleted the book from my library. I travel daily, ergo my penchant for audio books. I have a sizable collection, and this is the first time I have had to ditch the book. Too bad, because I think I might have otherwise been able to enjoy this cozy mystery series
How could the performance have been better?
the performance would improve with a reader with compassionate voice rather than a precise "word" reader - there's no other way to explain it.
Was Breach of Crust worth the listening time?
I think the story may have been worth the listening time, but I just couldn't follow it because of the annoying narrator.
