Insufferable narration

I had to end this early because I couldn’t get over the narrator’s voice. Her voice was distracting and made it extremely difficult to stay engaged. Her voice is too chirpy, robotic and overly cheerful for a story filled with trauma, abuse, and self-destruction. It felt like she was reading a children’s book instead of a serious memoir. I wish I would’ve just purchased the physical book instead. Please listen to the samples before wasting your money.
