This book was my introduction to this author, and what a brilliant find. Fabulous humour, snarky wit generating delightful character dialogue and interaction. Main character is Aisling Grimlock who you fall for and wish you had a friend or sister like her to fight your corner. Her faults and insecurities just make you love her more, plus along with Aisling you get her rather mad, loving and complex family, their amazing family dynamics are a joy to read (with one or two sniffles of course) plus a splendid best friend. In all a wonderful book, a highly recommended read, will brighten your day too no end.

I read this book on kindle last year and loved it, so was chuffed when the audio book came
out, Karen Krause has done a stupendous job, really adding too a brilliant book

Wonderful to have all these short stories brought together, highlighting just how rich and splendid “The World of Mercedes Thompson” is, with extraordinary characters and beautifully layered intrigue.

Fan-freaking-tastic really five stars is just not adequate
The Dresden Files is the best series out there and it just gets better and better, the wealth of captivating detail and well structured layering of story and characters as the series grows enthrals & enchants, an absolute joy to submerge one’s self into

And So so pleased James Marsters is back and rocked it as ever (wish Ghost Story would be rerecord by Mr Marsters)
