Historia
It's Peretti's ultimate monster story. And this time, the monster is real. Miles away from the hectic city, Reed and Rebecca hike into the beautiful Northwestern woods. They're surrounded by gorgeous mountains, waterfalls, and hundreds of acres of unspoiled wilderness. But something - or someone - begins closing in on them. Something no human has ever seen. And it's killing everyone in its path without remorse.

Wasn’t sure but sure glad I did.

Craving something that was ghost or witchcraft or worse. You can get that in this book read by Peretti himself.

I think it’s Koonts best so far.
Revisado: 03-11-24
If you’re a fan of Dean Koontz, you will rank this one of his best. I’ve probably read 12. His beautiful words an artist brush bringing to mind visions of all the things your memories hold. This is an uplifting book that makes the world make more sense.

Historia
The colonists from the Pathfinder have arrived on Kaguya, a planet with low gravity but a very dense atmosphere. It’s fun to jump around, but the air makes you loopy - and worse than that, the heavy atmosphere means that wind storms, although rare, are absolutely devastating. Zero and Nyx help to get everything locked down before the first big storm, but they stumble onto a group of thieves who have stolen some mining equipment. Before the kids have a chance to get away and tell anyone, the storm hits and the massive winds carry them far away.

Cute kids story!

I’m 65 and I enjoyed it. It’s nice to find a light uplifting story instead of the mostly dark books available. Pushes the evolution “theory”. But we are all used to that old narrative.

My name is Alexis Delaney, and I'm your average 17-year-old girl. Except I'm a Necromancer. Which means I can see the dead, talk to them, and help them move on. Well, I used to be able to. Someone has sealed the Veil. Now the dead are stuck here. And with the extra energy floating around town, the ghosts are getting stronger. It's been two months since I came to Spring Mountain to live with Uncle Rory. And the guys, my five best friends, have done everything they can to help since.

Okay- there’s no need
Revisado: 01-16-24
I was enjoying the second book when the profanity got to be too much. You can tell a story without being offensive to people who actually believe there is a God to honor and worship. There are many like me and it’s time to just stop. Authors never use Mohamed’s name to curse. The stories are not better for it.

Love love love

Story of love and grace. Comes together a little too unrealistically but it does come together beautifully. A book that will make you cry and laugh but with action that keeps it fast paced. Great read!

The sleepy, eastern Washington wheat town of Antioch has become a gateway for the supernatural - from sightings of angels and a weeping crucifix to a self-proclaimed prophet with an astounding message. The national media and the curious all flock to the little town - a great boon for local business but not for Travis Jordan.

For those who know the battle for souls.
Revisado: 01-11-24
I’m the same age of the characters went to a Christian college so much of the book brought back sweet memories. I’ve never been to a Pentecostal church service before but grew up with many who did. I can tell the writer is a Christian. The story is wonderfully written with the character development woven skillfully throughout. Great read for those who understand the battle and the enemy we all fight.

Fun Si-fi story- good performance as well
Revisado: 08-27-23
Obviously written with the current left wing(2023) Biden administration in mind. President that would do anything the evil left wishes, no matter how many it kills or hurts.
Obviously the writer also has Trump derangement syndrome, thank goodness only one sentence proves this fact.

After a long and eventful life, Allan Karlsson ends up in a nursing home, believing it to be his last stop. The only problem is that he's still in good health, and in one day, he turns 100. A big celebration is in the works, but Allan really isn't interested (and he'd like a bit more control over his vodka consumption). So he decides to escape. He climbs out the window in his slippers and embarks on a hilarious and entirely unexpected journey, involving, among other surprises, a suitcase stuffed with cash.

Forest Gumped his way (with some brains)
Revisado: 08-08-23
Fun story with episodes with communist, socialist and political nonsense. Also a good bit of making fun of people of faith. All in all, because of the characters you can overlook a little of that.
Also, the reader should have given President Johnson a Texas accent. In general though he did a fantastic job.
