Inconsistent story

To much merging, you lose track of story don,t quite understand what the story is about one moment their in a house next in a cave and you don,t know how or why they got their,the last couple of feehan books have been like that hard to understand the story that,s taking place. I started reading this series from beginning and this makes twice I,ve considered to quit
reading it is feehan tired of the carpathians ?

What,s with the butt in every few words coming out of the narrator mouth in almost every sentence? I lost count after the first hundred or so not even a quarter of the way thru the story which was great and catchy and a whole lot funny “but” the butts got on my nerves about half thru the book!

Heading for an Anita Blake finale?

On the home stretch with a downhill Anita Blake finale this book introduces old characters and wines down on previous plots. And again with the sexual exploits everything all throw together and not making sense,hard to keep up with so many poor turns so Hamilton should just give up on Anita, one more book to come and that should be the last hopefully ?? This great series needs to flush the toilet !

Narrator sucks

Loved the E-book and author but this narrator with more or less one flat Irish voice ruined this favorite story for me,read the book many times but this particular audio there’s no life or character individualality to the great story needs a new narrator to try again…

Great story, rourke steps forward along with secondary characters making their own step forwards and just a mention characters saying hello. Excellent this ones a reread several times over and a keeper!!'!,,,

Great story back to the original Anita

Great story Anita Blake is back until chapter 49 and from there Hamilton falls back into her sexual habits and the story goes downhill from there not so much physically as verbally seems she just can’t let go of the erotica had to fight with myself about buying this book should have listened to the little voice in my head that said no started reading and thought I might have stepped back into the original blakeland with no sexual intowendo But a leopard can,t change it,s spots after chapter 49 it went downhill as usual enjoy if you can !,,,

Good story but the female main character ?.....

Good story with the most naive heroine I,ve ever read -no one can be so smart but so naive/innocent as this one I felt like I was reading a regency romance it made me struggle to finish the story,the hero was great but her I couldn’t, much take .would have been better with a, stronger heroine personality between the two as the story gave me to believe when I bought it well better luck next book....

She,s finally gone to far

As a lover of Hamilton’s Blake series I,ve hung in there with all the sex,poly crap and such that,s been written by the author during the last few years but this time she couldn’t even give much of a story without all the crap, this has more sexual crap than the story she,s famous for and like most of her fans I think I,ve had it!,,this book couldn,t even hold my interest after waiting over a year for it to come out and debating whether to buy it because I don,t like snakes....but once I read it that wasn’t what disappointed me it was the sex crap that was eighty percent of the story,the author needs to give up writing for her fans and just start writing for erotic fans because she,s lost most of her old ones

Good storyline

Bases Of the storyline is good but not much of the story is given to keep me interested, I,ve no problem w sexual scenes enjoy them but you,re more descriptive with theses scenes and left out any story to keep me interested this is the first I,ve read by this author and maybe this is her trademark but you lost me after the first few chapters,good premise but no story...
