I love Nick’s narration and coupled with LA Witt’s words this is a great listen. Much less serious than other works from Witt it makes for a fun weekend listen. The only reason the story wasn’t a 5 is the cause for the angst, she does angst really well in other works. But I will still have this on my relisten list.

Lloyd grew on me and Luke was wonderful!

Guns Blazing by Andra Smith and Eva Lenoir

Narration by Joel Leslie

I wasn’t sure I would like Lloyd from book one, but the authors really did a good job at digging into his psyche and I came around to him. It was also a fun journey to have Luke unfold throughout the story. The story absolutely was made by the narrator, I really love Joel’s artwork in bringing each person to life in my ears. He is amaze balls!

I loved how it turned out

There was a lot to like with this listen. The biggest is the narration, I love Joel beyond reason, he really brings something unique to each character and he brings the story to life. I had started this story awhile back and DNF, which is ironic since this is how this story starts out! I really needed to power through the first part up until the MCs met for the first time face to face. Then I didn’t want to stop. I really loved Ida, I want to be her when I grow up! I am eagerly going into the next one in the series.

An enjoyable story and slow burn romance

This story is a slow burn on the romance side. The is definitely an enjoyable mystery on the journey finding the murders and FDA drug cover up, and the trail lead to an unexpected place. I enjoyed the narration some character voices more than others but will absolutely look for more work from this author and narrator.

So much deeper than I expected!

This is a gut wrenching beautiful story that had me laughing. James and Theodore are an unlikely couple that just work. What a beautiful thought provoking story! Joel is a freaking genius artist as a narrator!

The wrap up to a great series

Ray Porter is probably the best narrator I have ever listened to! What an artist! This concluding book for Bob was a bit over whelming in the places, time and people, but I was very satisfied with the ending and the message Mr Taylor brought across with AI and humanity. Definitely recommend.

Bane is redeemed

Somewhat redeemed! Bane is beyond bad in his dealings, but he looks at the world a little differently when Jesse comes into his life. Jesse is an awesome female who figures her stuff out and takes no prisoners along the way. I loved this book and the narration was PERFECTION!

A twisted wild ride

Hans and BB’s story is so full of angst! Some of BB’s choices were so hard for me to get and still like her until the whole story was revealed. Hans I thought was a sweetheart and had a tender heart that I wondered why he was attracted to BB but again I understood more throughout the story. The narration was perfect for the characters and will listen to both the author and narrator again. This was a first for both, I received a copy through Audioboom in exchange of a review.

The story was good, the listen was great!

The rocky road to romance between Cade “Zeus” and Felicity starts with a PR challenge, fake auction to true love with some fun adventures along the way. I had a little hard time connecting with Felicity’s character, but isn’t part of the enjoyment of stories how different people react to challenges they are faced with? Zeus forged on and figured out the important things in life!

It was a very enjoyable listen. Part of that was from Aaron Shedlock’s performance, he is awesome! Delivery is smooth and the female characters are not forced or falsetto which some can do. His work has brought me new authors like Taylor, which I now will add to my buy list!

Narration 5 story 3

I am starting on the high note, the narration is the best! Ava and Jacob really show their acting with this story.

The story itself I have a harder time. Depression can not hinge on who you date, it is a serious condition and needs to be treated as such. The characters let inconsequential things really get in the way, more than the plot needed. I like K Webster’s previous work that I have read and hope she goes for more in depth characters in the future. This is a first for Hollyfield and hope the same. I really wanted to like this listen more than I did.
