I so enjoyed this beautiful story. It flowed with history and each woman told hers. It is a story for women told by three to be admired. I could write more, but just listen and enjoy.. Narration is wonderful.

Historia
By the time she became US Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch had seen her share of corruption, instability, and tragedy in developing countries. But it came as a shock when, in early 2019, she was recalled from her post after a smear campaign by President Trump’s personal attorney and his associates—men operating outside of normal governmental channels, and apparently motivated by personal gain. Her courageous participation in the subsequent impeachment inquiry earned Yovanovitch the nation’s respect, and her dignified response to the president’s attacks won our hearts.

A Story that needed to be told.
Revisado: 03-23-22
I watched the impeachment hearings and was so impressed with Ambassador Yovanovitch. Her book shows her professionalism, bipartisanship and compassion. A true Patriot. Her love for her family and the countries she cared so much about is a wonderful story.

Historia
Texas, 1921. A time of abundance. The Great War is over, the bounty of the land is plentiful, and America is on the brink of a new and optimistic era. But for Elsa Wolcott, deemed too old to marry in a time when marriage is a woman’s only option, the future seems bleak. Until the night she meets Rafe Martinelli. By 1934, the world has changed; millions are out of work and drought has devastated the Great Plains. Elsa must make an agonizing choice: fight for the land she loves or leave it behind and go west, to California, in search of a better life for her family.

I feel as if Dr. Fauci is a true friend to us all. I keep up with his updates, when we can find them. His honesty has helped my family make good decisions living with this pandemic. His remarkable work with the Aids disease and what he learned from the patients and the folks who demanded so much from him is astounding. What a terrible loss for a President who will never learn that he needs help with this virus...and we have the absolute best. I highly recommend "Fauci"

Struggled to Listen😪
Revisado: 10-22-20
The only reason I continued to listen was the story itself. It would have been wonderful if the performer hadn't rushed, mispronounced Hebrew and Yiddish words. To hear accents would have added so much to a story that must be heard/read. A disservice to Mr. David.

Historia
1941. Audrey Coltrane has always wanted to fly. It's why she implored her father to teach her at the little airfield back home in Texas. It’s why she signed up to train military pilots in Hawaii when the war in Europe began. And it’s why she insists she is not interested in any dream-derailing romantic involvements, even with the disarming Lieutenant James Hart, who fast becomes a friend as treasured as the women with whom she flies. Then one fateful day, she gets caught in the air over Pearl Harbor just as the bombs begin to fall, and suddenly, nowhere feels safe.

Wonderful story, beautifully written. A powerful story of friendship, love and patriotism. Just Listen to it. The storyteller just draws you in from the beginning to the "too soon ending."
