I enjoyed this one, but found myself thinking he's 3/4 comedian and 1/4 basic motivational speaker. No real hardcore strategies, just a fun listen... I guess.

You can't argue with his approach. It helps to know a little bit about the world in the 30s and 40s, but even so you just cant argue with the straight forwardness and honesty of his principles. I read the book some 20 years ago, and found my mind wandering at times this time around, but all in all its a great book.

Very complete book about Patton, painted with a very realistic picture of who he was, both good and bad. I found it inspiring, especially as a fan of the man.

an OK book

This book is not much more than the Don spilling out the contents of his head onto audio. I enjoyed it, but mostly to see how a billionaire thinks, not so much for his help on how to get there. He has a huge ego, but why not... he's Donald Trump! Alot of opinions how how to order at a restaurant and he likes his suits, not so much a step by step help on how to conquer the real estate world. It's still a good book, but only if you go into it with that in mind.

I'm on the third listen of this, and I'd imagine I'll listen to it a few more times to internalize the depth of what he is saying. As a dyed in the wool conservative, Seth really does show his colors, but also gives credit where credit is due, for both parties. In fact, I found them very relevant and helpful in a modern context of how to "tell a story".

he goes through the early days, to the "golden age" of marketing, and the modern changes and power of marketing and "telling a story".

I'm ordering the rest of his books. It's changed my mindset about marketing. This audiobook spawned what I think are going to be very profitable ideas and approaches to marketing. Time will tell, but overall a great insight.

One of the best books so far

I wasnt familiar with peggy noonan before this book, but now Im a fan. one of the better audiobooks ive listened to in a while, and am listening to it for a second time. An insiders look at the greatest president of our time, who paints him as wonderfully human and uncommonly inspirational to conservatives everywhere. This one, is a must read in my opinion.
