I can’t put my finger on it but it was too much. I have a 5 for story because you cannot rate someone’s life experience but…. I think I was confused between the deep religious upbringing and the free flow of curse words. I should exactly understand but it hit me wrong. Other than that it was her experience. It explains a ton about evangelicals and their relationship with MAGA. Overall a very sad story.

Sometimes you struggle alone with what you've come to understand about Christ, Salvation and Religion. I say struggle because it is not at all what Christian Denominations have taught throughout all my growing up and adult years. But at the turn of 2017, I came to an understanding that I could hardly share with most of my associates, as they, like me have been thoroughly indoctrinated by the denomination of our upbringing.
I listened to this book and felt the deliverance that clearly has been coming to me through the Word and through other readings, find it completeness. My life, my salvation, my deliverance, my freedom from religious dogma it is all wrapped up in Jesus Christ. I'm grateful for the confirmation.

A friend sent me this book. I had assumed she had read it but it turns out that this book was written not just for me, but for me exactly at this time and place in my journey. I could write a book in response, but suffice it to say THANK YOU. And thanks to the sender God is still on time.
