Fantastic story and narration . I only wish the story had done a better job of tying in what and how Julie lost those fifty years .

Bud Threadgoode grew up in the bustling little railroad town of Whistle Stop with his mother, Ruth, church-going and proper, and his Aunt Idgie, the fun-loving hell-raiser. Together they ran the town's popular Whistle Stop Cafe, known far and wide for its fun and famous fried green tomatoes. And as Bud often said of his childhood to his daughter, Ruthie, "How lucky can you get?"

Awful
Revisado: 10-03-22
So sorry I didn’t send it back . I not sure which was worse the story or the narration. I loved the first story , Fried Green Tomatoes, it even left a bit of mystery as to what happened . This one ruined all of the mystery from the first one .
This was sappy and predictable and the author
Should never narrate her own book .

I enjoyed the story and look forward to the sequel. I do wish , however, that there was less
Detail and discussion about foods . It is somewhat annoying and does nothing to deepen the story or make the characters more
