Historia
On July 30, 1945, the USS Indianapolis was torpedoed in the South Pacific by a Japanese submarine. An estimated 300 men were killed upon impact; close to 900 sailors were cast into the Pacific Ocean, where they remained undetected by the navy for nearly four days and nights. Battered by a savage sea, they struggled to stay alive, fighting off sharks, hypothermia, and dementia. By the time rescue arrived, all but 317 men had died. The captain's subsequent court-martial left many questions unanswered

Devotion tells the inspirational story of the U.S. Navy’s most famous aviation duo, Lieutenant Tom Hudner and Ensign Jesse Brown, and the Marines they fought to defend. A white New Englander from the country-club scene, Tom passed up Harvard to fly fighters for his country. An African American sharecropper’s son from Mississippi, Jesse became the navy’s first Black carrier pilot, defending a nation that wouldn’t even serve him in a bar.

In captivating detail, Stevenson provides a fast-paced, hour-by-hour narration from the hijacking of Air France Flight 139 to the final 90-minute mission. In addition to discussing the incredible rescue itself, Stevenson also covers the political backdrop behind the hijacking, especially Ugandan President Idi Amin's support for the hijackers, which marked one of the first times a leader of a nation had backed terrorist activities.

Historia
During the German occupation of Rome from 1942-1944, Irishman Monsignor Hugh O’Flaherty ran an escape organization for Allied POWs and civilians, including Jews. Safe within the Vatican state, he regularly ventured out in disguise to continue his mission, which earned him the nickname 'The Pimpernel of the Vatican'. When the Allies entered Rome, he and his collaborators - priests, nuns, and laypeople of numerous nationalities and religious beliefs - had saved the lives of over 6,500 people.

Revisado: 06-21-17
I dream of Jeanie was my favorite show as a child.
I never knew barbra was so positive, and full of beautiful light. I also had a daughter who used herion thank my Lord my Jesus, he heard my prayers and today she is a beautiful young mom, wife and career woman. She was one of the lucky ones, but her and i both know so many that were not. Our prayers are always with them. Our prayers are with you to ms. Eden,. No guilt please, nothing in God's world happens by accident, it doesn't answer your questions nor ease the pain. But know u will see Mathew again. There is only a thin veil of separation.
He hears u, grab onto God's hand for that is whos hands Mathew is in today's..
U are an amazing woman.. Never joy without the cross..
No one knows why. But u will one day. God bless u and your husband... U brought joy and light to so many people. U brought much goodness into the world.
Thank u, and God bless

Historia
No person in history has provoked such widely divergent assessments as Jesus of Nazareth. Some say He was a cunning fraud, while others say He must have been out of His mind. In many cases His story is altered to suit the fancies of those seeking to make Him an ally for a host of militant causes. However, as Dr. R. C. Sproul points out in this Crucial Questions audiobook, there is compelling evidence that Jesus was something more - that He was, in fact, God in the flesh.

I downloaded this book unusual for me as I usually look for Catholic authors. But something told me to download this book. Book is written by a Protestant but he has the on target doctrine. He talks about the church and the Catholic one true church would you obviously the Catholicism in the Catholic church is the one true church. I guess there are some honest Protestants after all lol.. great book

Historia
In the dark days immediately after 9/11, the CIA turned to Dr. James Mitchell to help craft an interrogation program designed to elicit intelligence from just-captured top al-Qa'ida leaders and terror suspects. A civilian contractor who had spent years training US military members to resist interrogation should they be captured, Mitchell, aware of the urgent need to prevent impending catastrophic attacks, worked with the CIA to implement "enhanced interrogation techniques" - which included waterboarding.

jihadist terrorists had declared war on the United States. The reason why we were safe after 9/11 was because we treated the terrorists one captured as prisoners of War like we did in Korea Vietnam and World War II. then a new government Kane and dismantled all the interrogation sites and said now any terrorist captured has a right to our American justice system. The same system they are trying to destroy. Thank goodness Trump was elected. Hopefully he will bring back the interrogation sites and humanely interrogate the prisoners and get information out of them to continue keeping this country safe and then try them

I purchased this as i love true crime. it was a good true story. Though the case somewhat predictable . I never predicted it to be very very humorous at different parts.
FLORENCE, "scary bitch, evil bitch, Shit..." was one of the funniest statements ever heard in my entire history of listening to audio.. I would have never purchased it, if know it had humor. I don't like my humor mixed w suspense. But this book turned out to be refreshingly different than any I listen too. I recommend it to true crime lovers who want alitte spice in there suspense. yes I didn't think so either.,, But just listen...

Historia
It began with a tantalizing, anonymous email: "I am a senior member of the intelligence community." What followed was the most spectacular intelligence breach ever, brought about by one extraordinary man. Edward Snowden was a 29-year-old computer genius working for the National Security Agency when he shocked the world by exposing the near-universal mass surveillance programs of the United States government. His whistleblowing has shaken the leaders of nations worldwide, and generated a passionate public debate on the dangers of global monitoring and the threat to individual privacy.

I just don't know if it was worth taking all our secrets even Cryptid in the Russian borders. And said he would be tortured before he give them away but no one can Mk a blanket statement until understress in that situation. baby I just love this country and I don't think the US has the time to look at individual emails on my girlfriends. I think they were taking a bunch of them and trying to find a needle in a haystack. If Gathering that information stop one terrorist plot saved one live it was worth it.. just because Snowden believe it wrong does that make it wrong.,? Why is Snowden the judge of our entire surveillance system. His interpretation could be wrong. Overall I think Snowden should be allowed bk in the US not giving any more security jobs. treated as a criminal I don't know. However something has to be done people that are trusted with confidential material can't just go out and tell others about it because they don't believe in that trust. We live in the best country in the world with the most best laws. but no it's not perfect because it's ran by man. . Are we perfect no overall Snowden took a very big risk at putting country in danger. He was trusting with himself to not make one little mistake how did he know he wasn't going to make a mistake I think the guardian and Snowden did more harm than good how much arm I don't know but they did more harm than good... in the long run. However I think this was presented very objectively. With all sides covered equally
