Road to Resilience is based on the author‘s life from the time of his birth to when he turned 11 years old, but most especially, the time he spent in the foster care system. The author details the abuse and neglect he suffered as a child in the hands of his foster parents, which are quite horrifying. The book also shows the author‘s strength of character and decision to triumph (and triumph, he did) over his adversities.

This book really spoke on the things needed to change this dark system . I am thankful to have heard his story and thank the narrator for the clarity in the book ! I hope people will continue to get this book because it is helpful to the world and to the future generation to come !!
